    Big wicket.

New Zealander Jimmy Neesham is caught by James Vince off the bowling of D'Arcy Short.

36 now needed off 25 balls. With Essex six-down, this is in the balance.

    Essex 106-5 v Hampshire 155-6

Things are getting TENSE at Chelmsford.

Ryan ten Doeschate falls off the bowling of Mason Crane for three. Just 50 needed from 40 balls but Essex are making hard work of it.

I feel if Hampshire get Jimmy Neesham (23 not out) then the game is there's.

  3. SUSSEX BEAT GLOUCESTERSHIREpublished at 21:22 British Summer Time 11 June 2021
    Breaking

Sussex (178-5) beat Gloucestershire (177-7) by five wickets

Phil Salt hits the winning single to finish on 77 from 49 balls.

A fine knock completes a brilliant chase.

  4. DERBYSHIRE BEAT LEICESTERSHIREpublished at 21:21 British Summer Time 11 June 2021
    Breaking

Derbyshire (209-6) beat Leicestershire (186) by 23 runs

    Derbyshire celebrateImage source, Rex

A hectic finish at Grace Road where Naveen-ul-Haq and Will Davis fell to Matt Critchley in the 18th over, but Gavin Griffiths managed to hit a four and a six in the next before skying a catch off Logan van Beek to end the game.

Critchley was the undoubted star, with his T20-best score of 80 not out and a stand of 85 with Alex Hughes building on Luis Reece's 51 at the start of the Falcons innings.

He also took 2-35 with the ball to help inflict Leicestershire's second defeat. They next face Durham on Sunday, with Derbyshire at home to Birmingham Bears.

  5. DURHAM BEAT YORKSHIREpublished at 21:20 British Summer Time 11 June 2021
    Breaking

Durham (181-8) beat Yorkshire (161-6) by 20 runs

Will Fraine is caught for 14 at the start of the final over at the Riverside and David Willey and Jordan Thompson can only scratch four runs from the remaining deliveries as Durham complete and impressive win.

The home side were indebted to Brydon Carse, whose 51 off 31 balls enabled them to post a respectable total.

Carse also claimed the key wicket of Jonny Bairstow, who was bowled for 67, as Yorkshire fell short of their target.

They next face Leicestershire at Headingley on Tuesday, with Durham away to the Foxes on Sunday.

  6. BIRMINGHAM BEARS BEAT NOTTSpublished at 21:20 British Summer Time 11 June 2021
    Breaking

Birmingham Bears (229-5) beat Notts Outlaws (211-9) by 18 runs

Notts made a spirited attempt to chase the highest total they have conceded in 19 summers of T20 cricket - the Bears' third highest in this competition.

But they were always likely to fall short from the moment they lost Alex Hales for a second-ball duck.

After clutching a tie from the jaws of victory at New Road on Wednesday night, it has been a stuttering start to their title defence from Notts.

The holders now face Northants still looking for a first win on Sunday, when the Bears go to Derby looking to build on their first win - a great response to their depressing opening defeat by Yorkshire.

  7. 6 runs

    Gloucestershire 177-7 v Sussex 174-5

Make that four needed. Another huge maximum from Jordan.

    Gloucestershire 177-7 v Sussex 168-5

Chris Jordan smashes David Payne for six and all of Gloucestershire's pressure goes in one ball.

Only 10 needed now from 21 deliveries.

  9. wicket

WICKETpublished at 21:16 British Summer Time 11 June 2021

    Morgan c Bell-Drummond b Stevens 27 (Kent 178-8 v Middlesex 55-5)

Eoin Morgan wicketImage source, Rex Features

Eoin Morgan can't believe as he makes room to chop Darren Stevens away, but is caught by Daniel Bell-Drummond at point. Kent well on top in this one.

  10. Postpublished at 21:16 British Summer Time 11 June 2021

    Durham 181-8 v Yorkshire 157-5

Harry Brook did his best to try and revive Yorkshire but now he's gone for 41 off 27 balls, caught by Brydon Carse off Matty Potts after hitting the previous delivery for six.

David Willey is in now and he can certainly hit the ball hard - but has he been left with too much to do. Yorkshire require 25 off the last over.

  11. Postpublished at 21:15 British Summer Time 11 June 2021

    Gloucestershire 177-7 v Sussex 154-5

Chris Jordan (nine not out) is providing some support for Phil Salt who's now moved to 70 off 45.

With four overs to go Sussex need 24. They should, and I stress the word should, have this in the bag.

  12. Notts still having a gopublished at 21:14 British Summer Time 11 June 2021

    Notts 203-8 v Bears 229-5

Notts' Luke Fletcher and Calvin Harrison are enjoying themselves as Notts refuse to give this one up.

The 200 comes up with a ball to spare of the 19th over.

First time Notts have topped 200 against the Bears in T20.

But Fletcher is then run out for 23 to end a 36-run stand.

26 needed from the last over.

  13. Postpublished at 21:14 British Summer Time 11 June 2021

    Essex 87-4 v Hampshire 155-6

    Paul WalterImage source, Rex Features

To Chelmsford where there's been two key wickets for Hampshire.

Paul Walter edges Mason Crane to the keeper for 29 before Tom Westley is run out in the next over for 44.

Jimmy Neesham and Ryan ten Doeschate are both new at the crease.

69 needed off nine more overs.

  14. Postpublished at 21:12 British Summer Time 11 June 2021

    Leicestershire 166-7 v Derbyshire 209-6

Derbyshire edge closer to victory as Ben Mike falls to the final delivery of the 17th over, caught behind for 22 off Logan van Beek.

Mike attempts a ramp but the ball flies off the outside edge and the keeper leaps to his right to take a good catch.

  15. Postpublished at 21:09 British Summer Time 11 June 2021

    Kent 178-8 v Middlesex 53-4

Middlesex's run-chase is stumbling badly, with Max Holden and John Simpson out in successive overs. Eoin Morgan is still there on 27 not out and the responsibility is very much on his shoulders now. Chris Green is his new partner, following his five wickets in Kent's innings.

  16. SURREY BEAT SOMERSETpublished at 21:09 British Summer Time 11 June 2021
    Breaking

Surrey (188-3) beat Somerset (187-6) by seven wickets

    Not. Even. Close.

Surrey win by seven wickets with 24 balls remaining.

Even a score of 180+ isn't good enough against the Oval outfit this season.

Stunning stuff, with Sam Curran in particular looking good. He finishes on 72 not out from 36 deliveries.

  17. Postpublished at 21:08 British Summer Time 11 June 2021

    Gloucestershire 177-7 v Sussex 144-5

George Garton bowledImage source, Rex Features

Big wicket for Gloucestershire as George Garton falls for 46 off 25.

He's clean-bowled by Josh Shaw who now has figures of 3-31.

Sussex need 34 from 33, but two more quick wickets will turn this game on its head.

  18. Postpublished at 21:07 British Summer Time 11 June 2021

    Durham 181-8 v Yorkshire 133-4

Durham have done really well in this game, having been 95-6 at one stage of their innings. Harry Brook and Will Fraine aren't producing the fours and sixes Yorkshire need and with the required rate now more than 16 an over, the home side look favourites with three to go.

  19. wicket

Big wicket for Bearspublished at 21:05 British Summer Time 11 June 2021

    Notts 167-7 v Bears 229-5

Samit Patel departs for 20. A second wicket for Jake Lintott,

Surely all hope gone now for Notts.

    63 needed off four.

Could be doable if Carlos Brathwaite was playing.

    He is, of course.

But he's playing for Birmingham, not Nottingham!

  20. 6 runs

Postpublished at 21:04 British Summer Time 11 June 2021

    Somerset 187-6 v Surrey 181-3

Back-to-back sixes from Sam Curran (66 not out). Surrey need seven off 32.
