    Shrubsole 35, Dunkley 69

    Wow - that is huge.

Shrubsole punishes that dropped catch by sending the next ball for a huge six over long-on. Told you she could bat.

  2. dropped catch

    Dropped catchpublished at 120 overs

Shrubsole whacks two brutal fours through the off side, then slog-sweeps over to mid-wicket and is dropped by Deepti Sharma on the boundary. Should've been taken.

England are clearly showing extra intent in this afternoon session.

  4. Eng 358-8published at 119 overs

Bit of a dramatic over to kick things off - Shrubsole edges the first ball to slip but it bounces just short of Deepti Sharma.

Another big heave and a miss shows England's intent already, before Dunkley nails one that bounces just short of Mithali Raj at mid-off - could she have done a bit more to try and catch that?

Anya Shrubsole is a very accomplished batter and should be able to turn herself into a batting all-rounder like Katherine Brunt.

Here come Dunkley and Shrubsole to continue England's innings. Shrubsole is a very handy player to have in coming in at number 10.

England's Sophia Dunkley, speaking to Sky Sports: "I think we've got ourselves into a good position and managed to kick on this morning. We wanted to see off the new ball and we managed to do that. The half-century is all a bit of a blur to be honest. We're going to keep batting after lunch and see how many we can get on the board."

Thanks Kal - viva Gareth Bale.

I wonder whether England would've thought about declaring before lunch? In a four-day Test with potentially some rain disruption to come, it wouldn't surprise me if Dunkley and Shrubsole start to really kick on when they come back out.

Let's see what Sophia Dunkley herself had to say ...
