Great stat, that. Sophie Ecclestone is the new batter in.

Goswami has just become the bowler with the most LBWs in women's Test cricket and has gone past the player she just dismissed, Katherine Brunt.

Decision overturned. It was pad first and Brunt's stay at the crease comes to an end. The England batter didn't get forward enough as the ball zipped back off the turf.

An early wicket for India and Goswami's first of the match.

I can't tell you what Katherine Brunt said about that review but, erm, it wasn't very radio friendly.

Now then, Goswami has Brunt trapped in front. It's given not out but India are reviewing. If this hasn't hit the bat then it's close, very close.

The lights are on at Bristol, which shows how different the weather is today. It's not stopped the hardy folks in the flat across the road, though. There are quite a few England flags fluttering in the breeze as people watch on from their balconies.

Cracking ball first up from Jhulan Goswami. The veteran seamer has it nipping away from Katherine Brunt who plays and misses.

I like that from Shikha Pandey - throwing the ball back at the batter. We see Sophie Ecclestone do that quite a lot, it's a good way of showing your aggression as a bowler.

    I don't do it though, I really don't think I'm scary enough.

Dunkley drives back towards the bower, who picks it up and has a shy at the striker's end. A nice bit of aggression.

The England batter again hits it down the wicket, this time it's aerial and just wide of Pandey's left hand as she comes in from her follow through.

The Indian whites are what I want my teeth to look like.

And we're off. A solid cut down to deep point brings a single off the first ball.

Shikha Pandey, sporting sweatband on her left wrist and a white headband, will start with the ball for India. Katherine Brunt on strike.

It was a remarkable effort from Jhulan Goswami to bowl 19 overs in a day, the fact that she's 38 and the fact that she'd bowled 14 of the first 30-odd overs! It shows how much this Indian attack relies on her and her experience. But it will be interesting to see how she pulls up this morning.

The India fielders are hovering by the boundary and ready to make their way to the middle, with England debutant Sophia Dunkley and Katherine Brunt close behind.

It's a lot cloudier and cooler today in Bristol, which is a relief for those of us who don't deal well with the heat. It's also not a bad thing for England. Jhulan Goswami did get the ball to swing yesterday, and with helpful conditions about, Anya Shrubsole might be looking forward to having a bowl at some point today...

Yesterday, England's batters were in so much control at times, bowler Kate Cross was able to get her camera out and take some shots of team-mates.

I think England will be really happy with where they were overnight. I've spoken to a couple of the girls and we said a lot yesterday that they're learning on the job - so they are a bit like, have I done OK? But I think they'll be happy with their position.

Anyway, back to Bristol. We're about 10 minutes away from the start of the play. Let's have a look at the weather.

Yesterday, we had bright sunshine. Today, not so much.

Conditions which may favour the India bowlers this morning? Especially with a ball which is only five or so overs old?

At least we should get a full day of cricket, though. A few days ago the forecast predicted it could be a washout today, so every cloud (pardon the pun).

So it's got me thinking, what is your favourite ever sporting kit? The England 1992 Cricket World Cup top has to be up there for me.

As a Tottenham Hotspur fan, the 1990-91 is the first one I was given and holds fond memories. Probably because it's the last time we won anything of note!
