Mandhana has given away a couple of chances that England haven't taken, but she's looking comfortable.
I noticed there was an unplanned drinks break happening. I asked fellow live texter Ffion what's happening.
"I think Mandhana has gone to the loo," she replied.
"Oh," I responded.
To be fair, the India opener deserves a comfort break. She's scored 76 from 148 balls, with 14 boundaries. Class batting.

David Merson: This is just delightful batting from the Indians.
She may have lost her opening partner but Smriti Mandhana is still out there, and she's still scoring boundaries for fun.
First she chips Cross over mid-wicket and then times it through square leg.
Ten from the over.

What we might see here with Raut at the crease is an increased tempo running between the wickets. Verma was happier to just deal in boundaries.
Heather Knight continues.
A single for Mandhana brings Raut on strike. England will be eyeing up more wickets with 45 minutes still to go in the day.
So I've noticed the England fielders are calling their captain "Trev"... there are a couple of explanations, some people say it's because Heather rhymes with Trevor.
Others say it's because an umpire once called her Trevor, instead of Heather.

Punam Raut has waited a long time to face her first ball, she'll have some serious pad rash! But that was an absolute delight to watch from Shafali Verma.
Punam Raut is the new batter in. I was just thinking about how to describe Verma's century, definitely did not see that coming.
You could clearly see how gutted she was heading back to her team-mates, but take nothing away from a brilliant innings.
Verma c Shrubsole b Cross 96 (Ind 167-1)
Heartbreak for Shafali Verma! Can you believe it?
The opener looks to reach her Test debut century in style, she goes for the big swing and the ball comes off the toe-end of the bat and into the air.
Anya Shrubsole runs in from mid-off and takes a really smart catch.
You feel for Verma, but England have their breakthrough.
Verma plays the late cut with absolute perfection, getting her front foot forward then rocking back and guiding it down to third man for four.
She moves to 96, just one shot away from a Test century.
India trail by 233 runs
England skipper Heather Knight brings herself on. Her loopy off-spinners cause little trouble for Mandhana who is happy to leave and defend.
A maiden.
Mandhana 66, Verma 92
Time for Smriti Mandhana to tee off. It's not off the meat of the bat but it doesn't matter, Mandhana clears mid-on for four.
And now Shafali Verma has a big swing which sails over the head of Katherine Brunt at mid-on for another boundary.
She's into the 90s, she's on Test debut and she's only 17. Is she nervous? Probably. Is she showing it? Nope.
Mandhana 61, Verma 88
It's as if Verma just picks and chooses when she wants to go into T20 mode. The debutant moves on to 88 and this is now India's highest first-wicket partnership in Tests.
Shafali Verma moves her front leg and smashes Sophie Ecclestone over mid-on for six to bring up India's 150.
Kate Cross with the first over after drinks. What have England got here?
A yorker length ball which Mandhana digs out, before Cross cramps the opener for space with a tidy line. Maiden.

This partnership could be huge for women's cricket in India. I've already seen a lot of people on my Twitter who don't normally talk about women's cricket, calling for others to turn on the television to watch these two wonderful players.
A looping full toss from Ecclestone, Verma doesn't quite middle it but it has enough legs to clear mid-on and go for four.
It's time for drinks, England need a breather. As brilliant as the India openers have been, the hosts have had their chances...
