Four comes from another Kate Cross over, who has worked hard in this session without reward.

I'd say this session belongs to India, which makes it 3-2 to England.
Ecclestone drops one slightly short and Verma doesn't miss, using her feet effortlessly to punch it through cover for four.
Just like Dunkley, the opener has looked completely at ease on her Test debut.
Mandhana 23, Verma 27
Mandhana plays some more glorious drives but they all find the fielders.
No runs come but she looks comfortable against the seamers.

Verma has got to be decisive and clear about whether to attack or defend against Ecclestone.
A maiden to start for Ecclestone.
The world's number one T20 bowler bowling to the world's number one T20 batter. This could be some battle.
And here comes Sophie Ecclestone.
Caroline Atkins said on TMS earlier that she tipped the left-arm spinner for England success when she was still in the under 15 set-up. That certainly makes me feel better about the time she got me out back when she played for Cheshire at the age of about 9.

It was a difficult one, she had to really yank her hands low to get to it. It either sticks or it doesn't but certainly a missed opportunity.
Mandhana drives beautifully through cover to bring up India's 50 but is dropped next ball by Kate Cross in her follow through.
Catches off your own bowling are never straightforward but she should have taken that.

That was a decent height, even higher than Katherine Brunt's bouncer from earlier. Nice and sharp from Sciver.
Mandhana 19, Verma 27
Just as I called for some spin, Nat Sciver gets one to nip off the seam and beat Mandhana's outside edge.
She then gets one to bounce sharply and Verma sways to the side. A nice take from Amy Jones standing up to the stumps.
A maiden for Kate Cross.
It was swinging a bit for Brunt and Shrubsole, but it has gone quiet out there for England. I agree with Daniel Norcross - time for some spin?

I feel England will want to get Sophie Ecclestone on while the ball is still a bit hard and has some grip on it.
Mandhana 18, Verma 27
Four taken from Sciver's over.
Even when they defend, India's openers look positive.

Not much is happening, England are not getting much out of the wicket. There's been no real danger.
Kate Cross comes into the attack.
She concedes just a single but there's not much happening out there for England at the moment.

I've loved watching Verma bat. It's slightly frightening that anyone can be quite this prodigiously gifted and quite this good at just 17.
Mandhana 15, Verma 26
Wow, Verma has just hit the most remarkable shot - a tad too wide from Sciver and the youngster just stands and thumps it over long-off for a six.
She really is a delight.
