It looked a bit high to me, but Lea Tahuhu has such a slingy action she doesn't get as much bounce as you might always think. She's troubled the England batters with it quite a lot in this series.

It looks slightly leggy. Will Lauren Winfield-Hill get away with this?

  3. England reviewpublished at 4.2 overs

Hello! Lauren Winfield-Hill has been given lbw but she decides to send it upstairs.

Lea Tahuhu and New Zealand weren't as convinced by this one, but Sue Redfern decided to raise her finger.

New Zealand have only won one of their last 17 ODIs.

  5. Eng 10-1published at 4 overs

A maiden from Sophie Devine. Excellent start this for New Zealand.

That is some shot to play first up! It's not even a bad ball, she's just leant on it and it's pure class and timing.

  7. Eng 10-1published at 3 overs

England skipper Heather Knight is the new batter, and she's off the mark straight away with a glorious cover drive for four. Lea Tahuhu over-pitched and Knight just leant on the shot.

England have technically weakened their batting today with Katherine Brunt replacing Nat Sciver. Brunt is obviously more than capable with the bat, but England won't want to lose too many early wickets considering the frailty of their batting line-up in this series so far.

It's another low score for Tammy Beaumont, and opening the bowling with Lea Tahuhu has certainly worked for New Zealand.

    WICKETpublished at 2.4 overs

    Beaumont lbw b Tahuhu 1 (Eng 6-1)

    That is just out.

The technology shows that the ball is crashing into the middle of off-stump and Sue Redfern has to overturn her original decision.

A really good start from New Zealand, this.

This is similar to Tammy's dismissal at Bristol, where no one seemed too convinced but it was out. It looked close to me, though.

This looks like a really good shout.

  12. New Zealand reviewpublished at 2.4 overs

Has Tammy Beaumont been trapped lbw by Lea Tahuhu?

New Zealand like this. Sue Redfern says no, and Sophie Devine sends it upstairs.

This is Tammy Beaumont's 57th consecutive ODI for England, a joint record with Charlotte Edwards. She's played every game since she came back into the side in 2016.

  14. Eng 6-0published at 2 overs

Apart from that 51-run last-wicket stand, between Danni Wyatt and Tash Farrant in the second ODI on Sunday, New Zealand have generally bowled really well in this series so far.

Sophie Devine starts with a wide down the leg side, before conceding just a single down to fine leg.

    Tight start from the tourists.

I like the way Sophie Devine has got two slips in and is going on the attack. New Zealand know they need to win so it's a good approach.

  16. Postpublished at 13:04 British Summer Time 21 September 2021

It'll be White Ferns captain Sophie Devine with the other new ball.

  17. Eng 4-0published at 1 over

Lea Tahuhu comes back well with five dot balls to end the first over.

Bit of a loosener there from Lea Tahuhu. She's pitched the ball up, trying to get it to swing but is asking the ball to do too much and it's a gift for Winfield-Hill.

  19. Eng 4-0published at 0.1 overs

    First ball, four.

Over-pitched and on the pads from Lea Tahuhu and Lauren Winfield-Hill just clips it away to the square leg boundary.

There were shouts of catch, but it was comfortably wide of the mid-wicket fielder.

  20. Postpublished at 13:00 British Summer Time 21 September 2021

Lea Tahuhu will take the new ball, with Lauren Winfield-Hill facing up.

Sue Redfern is back in the middle, which is quite frankly joyous.
