  1. WI 284-3published at 112 overs

How is this not out?! A chance for a stumping as Jack Leach floats in a delivery which keeps straight and goes straight through Brathwaite, who is forward and well out of his crease. Wicket-keeper Ben Foakes misjudges the line of the ball, which clatters into his shins and trickles away.

Dan Lawrence turns his arm with a bit of off-spin. Can he be the unlikely man to find a breakthrough for England?

    No.

Blackwood was fortunate to have not been reviewed on nought by England and to have been bowled off a no-ball on 65. But like his captain, he's played a combative, determined innings. He's really fought hard for these three figures.

    WI 282-3

A third Test ton for Jermaine Blackwood.

Having been given a lifeline when England decided against a review when he was yet to score, Blackwood has played a disciplined innings, scoring 11 boundaries along the way.

Blackwood's century comes off 207 balls. His team-mates, as you might expect, give him a well-deserved standing ovation on the balcony.

  5. WI 281-3published at 109.3 overs

Blackwood takes four from the the first three Leach deliveries. He's on 99 and the fielders move a little closer.

  6. WI 277-3published at 109 overs

    Brathwaite 109, Blackwood 95

Ben Foakes stands up to the stumps as Woakes continues. England trying everything they can to find a late wicket.

Blackwood moves to 95 with a nudge to mid-wicket for two, a genuine edge down to the third-man boundary for four and then a single down the ground.

  7. WI 270-3published at 108 overs

It's not going to plan for Jack Leach. Too many freebies for West Indies as Blackwood takes an easy single and Brathwaite cuts a wide delivery for two more.

The good news for England is that Joe Root is back on the field.

  8. WI 267-3published at 107 overs

    Trail by 240 runs

Chris Woakes ends an uneventful over with a full and wide delivery down the leg side. We have 10 overs remaining today.

'Sweet Caroline' is being played out by the DJ for what I think is the first time today. Only a handful of England fans seem to be singing along. You know it's a bad day at the office when that happens.

  9. Eng 266-3published at 106 overs

Leach darts in a quicker delivery which beats Brathwaite. Aside from that, it's a straightforward over which offers very little. Maiden.

Joe Root has left the field so Stokes takes over captaincy duties. Root dived to stop a single earlier and looked slightly uncomfortable afterwards.

  10. WI 265-3published at 105 overs

Chris Woakes, who has been underwhelming this innings, returns. His first delivery is a loose one as Blackwood clips to the leg side for three.

Kraigg Brathwaite is exactly the sort of player England need opening their batting.

The Stokes-Blackwood exchange has woken up The Barmy Army who are now in full voice as Leach continues.

It may well have spurred England into action too as an inside edge off Brathwaite's bat is just out of reach of short leg. And again - this time past a diving leg-slip with Blackwood on strike.

This sums up the frustration England are feeling today.

  14. WI 260-3published at 103 overs

Stokes isn't letting things go. The two players come face-to-face and continue to stare and yell at each other. The umpires have another word with Stokes. And then with Root.

  15. WI 260-3published at 102.4 overs

Quality from Blackwood. Stokes over pitches and the half-volley is middled through mid-wicket for four.

Things are getting heated. Stokes and Blackwood exchange words. It's a shouting match. The umpires intervene and Stokes seems to be getting a telling off.

  16. WI 254-3published at 102 overs

    Brathwaite 106, Blackwood 76

Here's a delivery that sums up the day. Jack Leach, bowling over the wicket, tosses the ball wide into the foot holes outside Kraigg Brathwaite's leg stump. The ball doesn't really turn and skips through Ben Foakes legs, continuing all the way to the boundary.

    Sigh.

  17. WI 250-3published at 101 overs

Stokes bowls a loose delivery, wide and above head height. Blackwood unleashes an uppercut Anthony Joshua would be proud of. Four.

For all of West Indies' dogged batting, England have missed their chances. Stokes not reviewing an lbw shout when Blackwood was yet to score and Saqib bowling the batter with a no-ball. Poor.

  18. WI 244-3published at 100.1 overs

Leach goes over the wicket. England searching high and low for something here.

Brathwaite opens the face of the bat and plays with delicate hands to guide the ball through backward square leg for two runs.

I've spent the past few minutes trying to remember which level I parked my car on - which probably tells you all you need to know about what's happening out in the middle.

  20. WI 242-3published at 98 overs

Not good from the spinner. Short and wide. There to be hit. And cut firmly through point by Brathwaite for four.
