  1. 50 runs

50 for Brathwaitepublished at 56.1 overs

Well batted, Kraigg Brathwaite. A sweep off Jack Leach takes him to 50 from 167 balls. It's his slowest in Tests which, considering he hit his fastest in Antigua, is something.

  2. WI 117-3published at 56 overs

Saqib Mahmood continues after lunch. He was starting to find some reverse swing before the break.

He's looking for similar in this session, running in with the ball in his left hand to hide the shine from the batters. Dan Lawrence is working furiously to shine the ball too.

There's no significant movement in this over. Brathwaite and Blackwood steal a couple of singles.

To answer Dale from Swindon, it is to stop negative bowling tactics like the legside tactic saw from Pakistan against Australia!

  4. WI 114-3published at 55 overs

There's plenty of encouragement for Leach from behind the stumps, Ben Foakes chirping away. Leach lobs the ball up there and Jermaine Blackwood comes forward again and again. It's Leach's eighth maiden.

  5. WI 114-3published at 54 overs

We're ready to go again after lunch.

Jack Leach has the ball in hand. It's a tough grind but England would love a few more wickets in this session.

Can someone please explain what the impact being outside the line has anything to do with the result of the review? That was clearly going on to hit the stumps? Why does where it pitch and where the impact is matter?

If anything England look to be lacking another spinner on this pitch rather than a seamer. Who knows what we'll get in Grenada in terms of surface.

Both Craig Overton and Ollie Robinson are bowling in the lunch break. They’ll be keen to show they’re fit for Grenada with Wood ruled out.

    Thanks Kal.

I came to work in just a t-shirt today (plus trousers and shoes I should add). Summer is almost here.

With clear blue skies here in sunny Salford, I'm going to venture out for a break.

Tagging in Matthew Henry to see you through the next session.

England's bowlers have been accurate - there's uneven bounce in the pitch for the seamers, and turn and bounce for Leach. It's the sort of pitch on which wickets can fall quickly.

The two wickets to fall today were Shamarh Brooks for 39 when he played a poor cut shot off Jack Leach straight to point and Nkrumah Bonner who fell lbw to Ben Stokes for just nine.

A slightly controversial decision that second dismissal. Bonner reviewed the on-field decision and replays suggested it may have taken the inside edge.

A hard-fought session. Just 43 runs scored. England would have wanted more than those two wickets, and they were unlucky not to have Blackwood LBW. The quality of decision-making, particularly in LBW calls, has been poor this series.

    Brathwaite 44, Blackwood 7

A Saqib Mahmood maiden takes us to the lunch break.

You can say that's England's session. West Indies scored 43 runs from 27 overs with the loss of two wickets. They still trail by 393 runs.

Although the hosts should be four down after Stokes and England missed out on a review opportunity when Jermaine Blackwood was yet to score.

  17. WI 114-3published at 53 overs

West Indies work Stokes for four singles into the leg side. Good rotation of the strike - something which they haven't done enough of today.

  18. WI 110-3published at 52 overs

The review may not have gone his way, but it was another impressive over from Saqib Mahmood. He's bowling with discipline and finding movement. All he needs now is a first Test wicket.

Just under 10 minutes until lunch.

There was no bat but the impact was outside the line. It was a brilliant delivery from Mahmood, though. Fast and swinging in.

    As we were.

Yorker from Saqib Mahmood hits Blackwood's front boot. A huge appeal. Not given. I think it may have hit bat first or it may even be outside the line. England review.
