  1. WI 85-2published at 40 overs

Just two overs from Mahmood as Joe Root brings on Chris Woakes.

The Brummie almost strikes in his first over. Brathwaite reaches at a full and wide delivery and nearly finds the man at backward point.

It's been a real testing time for West Indies so far.

  2. WI 85-2published at 39 overs

Almost every other delivery is followed by Leach throwing his head into his hands.

An inside edge off the bottom of Bonner's bat sends the ball squirting into the leg side. Leach then finds sharp bounce as Bonner, on the back foot, plays inside the line.

  3. WI 85-2published at 38 overs

    Trail by 422 runs

Four dot balls from Saqib Mahmood followed by a Bonner pull down to deep mid-wicket for a single.

West Indies are still searching for their first boundary of the day.

Leach is finding spin and bounce, and there's uneven bounce from the far end for the fast bowlers. Not easy stuff for the West Indies batsmen.

  5. WI 84-2published at 37 overs

Leach piles on the pressure as dark clouds hover over the Kensington Oval.

Brathwaite prods forward. The ball falling just out of reach of Dan Lawrence at silly point.

Turn. Bounce. The England fielders in your face and nattering away. This will not be easy for Brathwaite and Bonner.

  6. WI 84-2published at 36 overs

Watching a replay of the Brooks dismissal. A piece of the turf flew off as the ball pitched, sparking the sharp turn. But make no mistake - it was short, wide and should have been dealt with.

Saqib Mahmood turns his arm for the first time this morning, replacing fellow debutant Matt Fisher.

Smart bowling from the Lancashire quick - good line outside the off stump. He has all the attributes to cement his place as an international bowler. Just needs experience and game time.

Leach got a huge ovation from the Hewitt and Innis Stand as he went to field at fine leg after that over.

It wasn't a great ball from Leach - it was a poor shot from Brooks, but it will boost Leach's confidence no end.

It was coming. Jack Leach has caused the hosts some problems this morning and the spinner is rewarded for his efforts.

It wasn't Leach's best ball of the day, mind you. Shamarh Brooks eyes up a short and wide delivery and cuts straight to Chris Woakes at point. Poor shot.

Now then! Fisher has the ball jumping off the turf and angling into Brooks. The batter plays it one handed and it falls agonisingly short of Zak Crawley at second slip.

A top effort from the fielder, though. He flung himself forward and tried to scoop the ball up.

Fisher has been impeccable this morning.

Leach has got men around the bat, there's lots of pressure on the two batsmen here.

  13. WI 80-1published at 33 overs

Leach drifts down the leg side and Brooks clips for two easy runs.

The spinner returns with a fantastic turning ball which finds the outside edge and squirts past gully. Genuine edge.

  14. WI 77-1published at 32 overs

    Brathwaite 31, Brooks 34

Fisher is finding some movement off the pitch, aided by the reasonably strong wind in Bridgetown.

    Another maiden.

Leach goes too short and Brooks punches through cover for two. Ben Stokes with a chase and a dive to stop the boundary.

There was a real lack of intensity from the West Indies pair - they could have easily taken three.

  16. WI 74-1published at 30 overs

More solid bowling from Fisher, who took a wicket with just his second ball in international cricket yesterday.

The seamer bowling a tad fuller than his first over but with a tidy line. One from it.

That was a very promising start from Leach. It's not easy being the solitary frontline spinner with all the expectation that you'll simply bowl the opposition out in conditions like this. What he really needs is an early wicket to settle him down.

  18. WI 73-1published at 29 overs

We saw a bit of turn yesterday and it's more of the same today as Jack Leach begins with a one which beats Brooks' outside edge.

The West Indies batter nudges into the leg side for his side's first run of the day.

Leach then sends through another beauty which whistles past Brathwaite's bat, followed by one which is worked into the leg side and just out of reach of short leg.

Terrific first over from the England spinner.

The England fielders are chirpy this morning. They shout encouragement to Fisher as he has one jumping up and taking Brathwaite by surprise.

On the money from the England debutant first up. Maiden.
