This is what the sport is all about! Village cricket kinda stuff. The glare of the sun is causing Brathwaite and Blackwood some problems. Ben Stokes and Matt Fisher trudge over the boundary rope and push the sight screen as if they're helping to jump start a car.

Poor glove work from Ben Foakes behind the stumps gifts West Indies a leg bye.

Their deficit goes down to 399 runs. England will be eyeing up another wicket before the interval.

I can't find them, Tim. Where are they?

Jack Leach has only bowled a handful of bad balls today, one of which took the wicket of Shamarh Brooks. But the spinner does go short again and Brathwaite cuts through the off side. Not timed all that well but the opener takes two.

Just as I was about to write it's been over seven overs since we've seen a run off the bat, Blackwood creams Stokes through the covers for four. A nice way to get off the mark.

Joe Root is trying Jack Leach from the Joel Garner end now - he had less turn from that end yesterday, but it seems to be worth trying.

  7. WI 101-3published at 48 overs

West Indies should really be four down. The only thing I can think is that Root and/or Stokes thought it had hit the front pad.

Another maiden for England and Leach. I can't remember the last time a run was scored.

Now then! Stokes has one skidding off the turf and nipping back into Blackwood. The bowler unleashes a huge roar but his appeal is turned down. Joe Root and Stokes exchange glares but decide it was doing a tad too much and opt not to review.

It hit the the back pad and my initial thought was that it was worth a review. Replays show it would have been cleanly hitting the leg stump.

Stokes watches the replay on the big screen and smirks, before making a 'T' signal towards his captain.

    An opportunity missed for England.

Andrew Thompson: Bonner has hit the cover off the ball there.

Jacob Wadsworth: Ooft looked like a clear inside edge to me, not complaining at all as we had a few against us in Antigua.

It was very, very close. My initial reaction was that it did hit the bat. I think West Indies can feel slightly aggrieved by the decision.

That lbw didn't look like a great decision to me.

Jermaine Blackwood is the new man as Stokes completed a wicket-taking maiden.

England have a real spring in their step. They sense the West Indies batting line-up is there for the taking.

    Bonner lbw b Stokes 9 (WI 101-3)

It's given on umpire's call. Ben Stokes starred with the bat and now he strikes with the ball.

There was a delay as the TV umpire looked to determine whether there was an inside edge or not. As the ball struck the pad, it was inconclusive as to whether it hit the bat at the same time.

Nevertheless, replays show it would have clipped the top of the stumps. Huge wicket for the tourists!

Bonner is trapped in front. Stokes is convinced and the finger goes up! Bonner reviews. Inside edge? Too high?

  17. WI 101-2published at 44 overs

West Indies are struggling find any real rhythm. A wide delivery from Woakes should be despatched by Brathwaite but he mistimes a cut and the ball trickles towards point.

    Maiden.

    WI 101-2published at 43 overs

On comes Ben Stokes the superstar.

His first few deliveries stray towards the leg side. A pitched up ball lands and - not for the first time - sends a piece of the turf flying into the air.

Just a leg-bye from the over. On come the drinks.

  19. WI 100-2published at 42 overs

A rare loose delivery from England this morning. Too full and on leg stump from Woakes and Brathwaite effortlessly works it past backward square leg for another boundary.

A single brings up Windies' 100. They still trail by 407 runs. Time for drinks... oh no... the umpires decide we can get another over in first.

  20. WI 93-2published at 41 overs

    Brathwaite 33, Bonner 9

Nkrumah Bonner may have been known to few England fans before this series but is fast becoming West Indies' kingpin. A sweep off Leach brings him his first boundary - the first we have seen today in fact. He plays a textbook cover drive later in the over which also whistles to the fence.

    A man in form.
