England's players are purposefully striding out to the middle with sun cream slapped on, sporting sun hats and donning shades aplenty.

The forecast looks good for Grenada, we should be set for an interrupted day all being well.

Excellent point by Jonathan Trott. Worth nothing West Indies new-ball pair initially went wicketless and it was the control of Kyle Mayers and Jason Holder which brought wickets through pressure.

England could do worse than use that as a template for how they start. Control is everything.

The key yesterday was the length the West Indies bowlers bowled. A little bit of swing and the average seam movement is more than the previous two Tests which is why we saw more edges. The important thing for England is getting the length right. Not trying to bowl miracle balls, but getting it in the right area.

Ben Stokes was out bowling in the middle with a support on his left knee during the warm-up. He wasn't wearing that yesterday.

There's something magical and inspiring about a tail-end partnership the like of which we saw from Jack Leach and Saqib Mahmood yesterday.

On the face of it West Indies had the better of things but the defiance, and just as importantly technique, shown by the last-wicket pair flipped the opening day on its head in some respects.

England would have been down in the dumps without it. Today they will have skipped to the ground with a spring in their step.

Welcome to day two of the third and deciding Test between England and West Indies from Grenada. Should be an intriguing one.
