It has definitely been England's first hour. A couple of cutters have done the job, rather than the swing, but the bowling has been brilliant. Their discipline, in terms of line, has been excellent to watch.

An interesting approach to the short ball from Mithali Raj as Nat Sciver fires one in and she just drops her bat and lets it hit her on the arm.
Sciver repeats the dose next ball and Raj plays and misses. A plan on show here for England?

The other wicket to fall this morning was Smriti Mandhana, who played this lovely shot before she tried to replicate it and was bowled.

Just the single from the over as Mithali Raj glides a controlled edge down to third man off the final ball to retain the strike. She is a player known for occupying the crease, and loves a not out - India will need that glue in their innings today.
Kate Cross comes into the attack and immediately gets some bounce to Mithali Raj which strikes her on the pad. There's a big appeal but not given - replays show it was too high.

An identical shot from Raut finds her another boundary. That over will give her a lot of confidence and she just needs to stay there to make it count.
Sciver follows it up with a short ball that is left alone.

And some more glorious timing from Raut as she beats the ring fielders to get a cover drive away for four. Textbook.

Raut times a couple nicely to pick up some twos that can't quite find the boundary. The amount of balls she's taken up will be justified if she can stick around here.
Here was that big wicket of Shafali Verma, which really changed the pace of this India innings.

She has her hair tied back in its textbook bun, which I would imagine she'll be redoing plenty of times today in this wind.

This is her 215th ODI and she's scored 7,098 runs and she's clear by more than a 1,000 runs.
First 10 overs done and they definitely belonged to England.
You sense that Raut and captain Mithali Raj just need to occupy the crease and accumulate for a while now, as it's certainly not looking easy for batting out there at the moment.

Mandhana was timing the ball nicely but she wasn't getting the ball past the fielders, so that looked like a wicket of frustration.
She goes to carve past point but it was full and straight and not quite there to play off the back foot.

Katherine Brunt sort of went "why are you reviewing?" with her arms out, so there are interesting mind games going on between the two sides here.
