Mark Wood dropped to his haunches and put his hands over his mouth in disbelief at that review. He couldn't believe it.
He is targeting Pat Cummins with the short ball, after the Australia captain holed out on the pull yesterday. Cummins is doing anything he can to evade the ball at the moment.

You can see why it was given out. It looked stone dead.
Yep, it is sliding across and missing off stump.
A brilliant delivery from Mark Wood, though.

It is a brilliant piece of bowling. The bluff.

Why wouldn't you review at this stage but Pat Cummins doesn't look convinced.
This is going to be missing off stump I think.
Mark Wood was round the wicket and fired in a yorker length delivery across Cummins.
Mark Wood has got Pat Cummins lbw first ball!!
Cummins sends it upstairs, but more out of hope than optimism I think.

Wood is one of those players you always want to do well and he has deserved that.
Starc c Pope b Wood 1 (Aus 121-8)
Mark Wood has five wickets! Yes, Woody!
It is banged in from Wood, and Mitchell Starc fends off his hips to Ollie Pope, who is on his knees at short leg.
Really nice for Joe Root too. He made sure Wood had the ball to raise to the crowd and the England skipper stands there, smile beaming and clapping like the rest of the huddle.
Wood really deserves that. He has been England's standout bowler in this series.

I am not having that the technology is that accurate to call that pitching outside leg.

Stuart Broad couldn't believe that. Live he was absolutely convinced it was out - he was off, arms out again - and didn't bother to turn round to appeal until he reached Alex Carey.
Carey was just like, that's out, basically.
England could easily have bowled Australia out in this session.

Come on!

To quote Ian Smith it is the barest of margins.
Oh wow! It is pitching outside leg by literally the TINIEST of margins.
That was 50/50 at worse surely. I'm really really not sure about that.
Broad's expression was "WHAT!?!"
Geoff Lemon

Carey has reviewed and then started walking to the dressing room.
There's no bat.
Stuart Broad has got Alex Carey out lbw.
Carey starts his walk back to the changing room, but Mitchell Starc shouts at him and tells him to send it upstairs.

Ali Campbell: We're 4-0 down in the series but glad to see the Broad celeb-appeal is still as strong as ever.

Ouch! A little bit of extra bounce for Mark Wood and Alex Carey gets a bit tangled as he looks to fend it off and it smashes into his top wrist. A brute of a delivery.
Wood has been excellent today.
