Dunkley is so quick, she often forgets that the others aren't as quick as she is! That's a bit of a warning to her there.

It looked like Katherine Brunt has just said to Dunkley 'you can't do that'.

I think Brunt has had enough of this running malarkey. She just wants boundaries.
You know what, I'm just going to stop trying to compliment England's running between the wickets because every time I start the sentence, they try to make a fool of me - I'm more than capable of doing that on my own!
This time it is Dunkley pushing the last ball of the over straight to cover and going for the single, both batters end up halfway down the pitch but Brunt just about manages to make her ground.
Chloe Tryon has been the model of consistency today...

That would have been an unbelievable catch. It just dropped short, a very tough chance.
Brunt ends up sprawled on the deck at the non-striker's end, keen to avoid a run out as Dunkley powers a drive back at Khaka, but is up quickly to run the single when the ball gets through.
Is that a drop? It is. Brunt pulls the ball square and the fielder comes in off the rope, dives forward but just cannot cling on to what would have been a brilliant catch.

These two have got to stay there until 45 overs before they up the rate. Keep it ticking over and wait for the bad ball because it will come.
Dunkley 19, Brunt 8
Dunkley continues to play those delicate paddle and lap sweeps against the spinners as Tryon continues. One such shot brings her two, otherwise England deal in singles.
Eight overs left in the innings...

We're only seeing Sune Luus bowl this many overs because of that injury to Ismail.

Katherine Brunt says enough is enough!
Up and over mid-off from Brunt. Plenty of air on that delivery from Luus so the England all-rounder had time to pick her spot and does so with aplomb. A very timely boundary.

Jack Rule: I’m sorry but that was Dunkley's fault there. Never a single there and Dunkley stopped after calling Jones through. Not the first time I’ve seen Dunkley do that either.
More risky running from England. Dunkley hits a drive firmly to Klaas at mid-off and sprints through for the single, she went straightaway but would have been gone with a direct hit nevertheless.

Both set batters are gone now. Jones and Beaumont built such a good partnership, and all that pressure they absorbed has been completely wasted.
They have two new batters at the crease and they'll have to take more overs out of the game to rebuild. There was just no need for that run there whatsoever.
The complexion of this innings has changed completely in the space of a couple of overs.
Katherine Brunt is there with Dunkley, who might feel she needs to get a few runs here to make up for her part in that run-out.

Why didn't Amy say no?! Why not send Dunkley back? It was so unnecessary.

There was never a run there! Never!
Jones run out (Kapp) 53 (Eng 167-5)
Crazy running. I was just typing that the running had been good, putting pressure on the South African fielders but they've tried to push it too far this time.
Dunkley nudges the ball into the legside, pretty much straight to Marizanne Kapp but calls for the run anyway. It was never on and Kapp's underarm throw finds the gloves of Chetty. She does the rest and Jones is gone.

Georgie Heath: Talk about silencing the doubters. Huge innings from Jones to reach fifty. Time for low-key celebrations then refocus, dig in and help England set a big target. They've got overs on the board and a number of batters who can contribute with late flurries.
