Afg 51-4published at 7 overs
A tidy first over from Shadab Khan concedes just two as Afghanistan play rather sensibly.

Shot! Najib crunches the last ball of the over past point for four more.
We're dealing in boundaries and wickets at the moment. It's completely bonkers but completely brilliant.

Do you think these guys need an invitation to have a free hit?
Hasan Ali oversteps and gifts a free hit.
Expecting a six - but he delivers a perfect yorker and it's a dot ball. Disappointing!
Karim Janat helps himself to four more down to fine leg as Hasan Ali strays onto his pads.

This is high-octane. Afghanistan need a calm head out there. It is going in a hurry this game.
Rahmanullah c Babar b Hasan 10 (Afg 39-4)
Afghanistan's approach of 'Everything Must Go For Six' isn't quite paying off.
Hasan Ali bangs it in short, Rahmanullah skies it high, high in the air and Babar Azam takes his second catch at mid-on.
This could be over very quickly if they continue at this rate.

That is what you call using the pace.
This Afghanistan team loves to hit sixes! Rauf drops short and wide outside the off stump and new batter Karim Janat upper-cuts it over point!
What a great start this has been.

I spoke to Pakistan coach Matthew Hayden and he said the one thing you can't really see on the TV is how fast their fast bowlers bowl.
Afghan c & b Rauf 10 (Afg 33-3)
And he strikes!
Extra pace from Haris Rauf catches Afghan by surprise and he chips up a simple return catch.
I'm not sure I've seen a more entertaining 10, in fairness.
Haris Rauf is going to have a bowl.

This is why I was looking forward to this game. It is so unpredictable.
Four more! Afghanistan counter-attacking nicely here and that over was absolute chaos.

That's why he didn't want the single. He wanted to hoof the next ball for six.
Oh this is great viewing.
Afghan smashes the next ball into the stands for another big six and then strangely bumps his batting partner on the helmet - in a friendly way, but I think Rahmanullah wouldn't have minded a standard fist bump, to be honest.
Carnage! Confusion between the batters sees both of them almost colliding in the middle, but bowler Imad can't collect the throw cleanly to complete what would've been a simple run out.

That has gone miles in the air. I reckon it has gone above the line of the lights.

That is a massive blow!
That is huge!
Rahmanullah gets down on one knee and dispatches Imad far back into the stands!
