Well, well, well. It is great bowling. He was playing for the ball coming back in after the previous ball and it just straightened on him.

South Africa are still favourites at this stage but you never know if those another wicket or two. I don't really like watching South Africa chasing for some reason.

It was a superb over and he got the reward that he deserved. Maybe there is life in this game.

    Markram c Naim b Taskin 0 (SA 33-3)

    Taskin strikes!

He gets his man this time! Having beaten Aiden Markram all ends up the ball before, he again extracts some awkward bounce to find the outside edge and Mohammad Naim takes a good sharp catch at slip.

    South Africa looking nervous!

That is an extraordinary delivery. It just seemed to leap in the opposite direction like a Cristiano Ronaldo free-kick.

  5. SA 33-2published at 5.4 overs

Taskin Ahmed is just finding a bit of movement from the pitch, similarly to Kagiso Rabada.

He gets one to nip back in sharply and beat both the keeper and batter to run away for an unfortunate four byes.

South Africa are still in a decent position but Bangladesh will be reasonably happy because they have picked up a couple of wickets and they haven't made scoring easy for South Africa.

I don't think it is a horror pitch. It is a difficult one.

    Target 85

Aiden Markram joins Rassie van der Dussen in the middle.

Commentator's curse! That ball must have hit a dryer quicker patch and it has just done Quinton de Kock. Sometimes when dust comes off the pitch you can lose it for a split second and that is enough to mis-time the shot.

Well! He missed the quicker straight one.

    De Kock b Hasan 16 (SA 28-2)

I feel like we may have jinxed him there.

Four, four, out. Not much more to that other than missing a straight one.

Great response from Mahedi Hasan having been smashed for two boundaries earlier in the over.

Quinton de Kock is a top-class player. Those shots have shown his class and ability as a player.

  12. SA 28-1published at 4.3 overs

It seems de Kock has chosen his time to accelerate. He nails a reverse sweep for another four.

That is great execution because Quinton de Kock hasn't really been able to get going today.

  14. SA 24-1published at 4.2 overs

    Here we go!

Quinton de Kock gives himself some room and smashes Mahedi Hasan's second ball for four over cover.

  15. SA 20-1published at 4 overs

    Target 85

I expected South Africa to come out swinging and improve their net run-rate as much as possible, but it's been a pretty tame start so far.

A nicely-timed clip for four from Rassie van der Dussen are the only runs from that over.

    Finally a shot in anger!

  17. SA 16-1published at 3 overs

Quinton de Kock hasn't had many opportunities to score yet. He smashes one straight to the cover fielder before pulling the last ball of the over for a dismissive four.

He's South Africa's key to chasing this down as quickly as possible, so that's a welcome sight for them.

Three taken from Shoriful's first over. It's fair to say that there is very little scoreboard pressure on South Africa so they can get away with a few quiet overs.

But ... chasing this low target quickly and boosting their net run-rate would do wonders for putting them ahead of Australia in the battle for second place.

  19. SA 6-1published at 1 over

Rassie van der Dussen is the new batter. Good start for Bangladesh, and the crowd loved having something to cheer about for the first time today.

It was good bowling. There is obviously movement in this pitch. He had no chance with a review.
