Is there a twist in the tale?
Hendricks lbw b Taskin 4 (SA 6-1)
No hesitation with this one, though!
What a delivery. Full, straight and nipping back to peg Hendricks on the back leg, plumb in front. He looks at Quinton de Kock as if asking whether he should review, but it's a very definite 'nah, you're a gonner'.

That is timing.
Ooh, big lbw appeal on Reeza Hendricks! But umpire Paul Reiffel is having none of it and there's no review.
And he drives for four to the cover boundary next ball. Standard.

I reckon South Africa will be eyeing an early finish, maybe within 12 overs.
He starts with a wide. Not ideal.
Anyway, they've got to forget about the batting now. Taskin Ahmed has the ball in his hand and he's bowling to Quinton de Kock.
Bangladesh did hit one six, mind you. And it was a really decent one.

South Africa are not losing this game.

Bangladesh are going to have to reflect on this tournament. Is it a mental thing? Do they fear the big stage? Or is just the fact the other teams are better?
As much as South Africa were brilliant, there was some questionable batting thrown in there too.
Kagiso Rabada ran through Bangladesh's top order, restricting them to 24-3 and finding an unusual amount of swing with the white ball. Combine that with his pace and bounce - good luck to any batting team.

South Africa bowler Anrich Nortje: "We've just been doing the basics. Kagiso [Rabada] bowled really well today and it was just simple plans, nothing really special about it. It was just about staying a good, hard length. Well done to the bowlers.
"I've been working on my lines since I got to the UAE for the IPL - where I'm running to and where my arms are going to and I think it has helped me, particularly in the World Cup.
"We know about the net run-rate. We didn't talk about it on the field but we don't want to take our foot off the gas."
That was absolutely brutal. Bangladesh never looked comfortable against the pace and bounce of South Africa's seamers and the accuracy of Tabraiz Shamsi.
Anrich Nortje finishes with a remarkable 3-8.

He smashed the stumps! He middled the stumps more than any batter has middled the ball in that innings.

It was hit wicket. He just went deep in his crease and he was scared.

Shoriful Islam had no idea about that ball. Anrich Nortje was just too quick for him.
That was pretty impressive from South Africa.
Shoriful b Nortje 0 (Ban 84 all out)
What a ball to finish!
Full, straight and lethal from Nortje. Although I think the batter was backing so far away from the pace that he's hit his own stumps! Not a great look, that.

Anrich Nortje has bowled really well today.
