I'm not a fan of batters not using a helmet. All it takes is one top edge. It's so dangerous.

A brilliant partnership this between Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan. They have both placed a high value on their wicket and are keen not to give it away.
They take 12 runs from that over. That is 42 in three overs since the drinks break.

That will be sore.
That is going to hurt! The bowler Jan Nicol Loftie-Eaton has been hit in the face by the ball.
The wicketkeeper was trying to run out Mohammad Rizwan at the non-striker's end but the throw hit Rizwan on the back and spun up to heat Loftie-Eaton in the face.
A sore one.
Mohammad Rizwan is in the groove now.
One, two steps down the pitch and a free swing of the bat sends the ball flying miles over the head of long-on.
He's caught up. He's 38 from 32 balls.

Pakistan will be eyeing at least 160 from here with the platform they've got.
Big, big over for Pakistan - 18 off it. They've added 30 in two overs since the drinks break.
Babar Azam followed his half-century with a lovely lofted drive over mid-off, before Mohammad Rizwan gets a thin edge on a pull down to fine leg to end the over.

Babar Azam is leading the way. What a fine, fine cricketer he is.
Is Babar Azam ever not in the runs? This is his third half-century of the tournament.
A brilliant, patient and classy innings.

That was in the air for a long, long time. The fielder just thought he was in with a chance until the last second.

It was JJ Smit again! The ball just evaded his outstretched right hand.
First six of the game.
Mohammad Rizwan advances down the pitch and plants the returning Ruben Trumpelmann over long-on.
Australian Matthew Hayden, who is part of the Pakistan coaching staff, is mimicking riding a horse on the sidelines. I think he's saying Rizwan is getting going now?

JJ Smit is unlucky there. He covered a lot of ground and put in a good dive, the ball just parried away from him.
Babar 49, Rizwan 22
That is unlucky for the fielder at third man. Babar Azam guides a late cut past backward point and running around the Namibia fielder looks to flick back but the ball hits his body and rebounds over the rope.
A really good for Pakistan with 12 off it. They'll be aiming for 150.

It's quite jarring to see Babar Azam with no cap and no helmet.
Good from Mohammad Rizwan. He moves across the crease and creates a bad ball which he helps round the corner for four.
He's up to 20 from 26 balls.

There hasn't been a great deal to enjoy or rave about in this innings so far but Babar Azam is up to 43 not out and starting to accelerate...

Namibia will be pleased with this start. They've stuck to playing simple cricket but Pakistan have struggled to find the boundary regularly.
Another good over for Pakistan, with nine added. They have definitely got to grips with this pitch in the last 15 minutes or so.
It still isn't easy, mind. Mohammad Rizwan looks to go downtown but ends up dragging to short fine leg.
At drinks they'll be the happier of the two sides though, I reckon.
