Babar Azam is very competitive. I wonder if he watched Jos Buttler yesterday and is thinking, "let me show you what I can do".

That's a shot.
Babar Azam comes down the pitch and meets Jan Nicol Loftie Eaton's delivery and thumps it back down the ground and out of the reach of long-on.
It is a tune, Aatif.

I hear this World Cup song in my head as I sleep these days. It haunts my dreams.
What is a good score from here? I don't really want to speculate on what Pakistan might get because Asif Ali could make me look very stupid based on his innings against Afghanistan on Friday...
Five singles from the over.

Namibia are keeping Pakistan in check, but they'll know how explosive they can be at the end of an innings.

It's looked a tough wicket to bat on. We saw South Africa get into a bit of trouble in their innings.
It's the first time we've seen a considerable amount of swing, too.
It feels like Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan are slowly coming to terms with this pitch.
They know boundaries are going to be hard to find, but they are rotating the strike well.
Nine from the over.

You could practically see the air being knocked out of him there!
Sloppy again from Namibia. These little lapses could prove crucial if this is a tight game later on. The ball is pulled out to deep square leg and a little fumble allows Pakistan to steal a second.
Mohammad Rizwan is really struggling for timing. He was far too early on a pull early in the over and was hit in the ribs/armpit.

You cannot bowl there to Babar Azam. Width outside off stump, that's his favourite area to hit.

That's poor from Namibia. They built the pressure so well and just allowed Rizwan to get off strike.
Oh, Namibia. That is sloppy. The pressure was building on Mohammad Rizwan but a loose throw allows him to steal an extra run and get off strike.
A little bit of extra width is then punished by Babar Azam as he crunches a cut through the covers.
End of the powerplay. Pakistan have been quiet but 10 wickets in the shed could be crucial.
Jan Frylinck has absolutely stacked it in his follow through.
He seems to slip and ends up face down. He definitely jarred his shoulder and potentially even his chin against the wicket too.
Mohammad Rizwan punches his back as if to say "crack on, son" as he gets up. I'm not sure that is going to help.
Another change for Namibia as left-armer Jan Frylinck replaces David Wiese.

Oh! Millimetres!
It was very, very close to being umpire's call that lbw. What a fantastic review, though. Rizwan seemed to know too - him and Babar Azam barely had a chat about it.
Rizwan rubs salt in the Namibia wound with a flick to the fine-leg boundary.
And Mohammad Rizwan is right.
It did pitch outside leg stump and the Pakistan opener survives.
Rizwan signalled to the umpire that he thought it pitched outside the line of leg stump after Chris Gaffaney made the review sign.
