Moving away from vegetable chat, Namibia made a decent start in the powerplay, removing the dangerous Martin Guptill for 18.
You can't say we don't bring you that news that matters.
There's big news happening in New Zealand while this game is going on. They think they've broken the world record for growing the biggest potato - it weighed in at 7.9kg, and has been named Doug.
More on that here., external
Devon Conway isn't wasting any time. He drives the ball down the ground but some smart fielding from long-off prevents the boundary.
Conway repeats the trick next ball but places it straighter this time, meaning it goes wide of long-off and over the rope for four.

Namibia look a well-oiled outfit. They look like they belong.
Devon Conway is the new batter as three singles complete a tidy over over.
New Zealand may be feeling the pressure a bit here. They need to win but will also want to win well as net run-rate could become a factor in the final shake-up.

That was a good piece of ground covered to catch it as easy as he did - and the bowler showed good variation, not only mixing his pace, but his length.
Mitchell c van Lingen b Scholtz 19 (NZ 43-2)
There's huge cries of 'catch it' as Mitchel mis-times a drive into the air and Van Lingen does well to run in from deep extra cover to take the catch.
Both of New Zealand's dangerous openers are back in the hutch.

New Zealand will have their eye on not only winning, but boosting their net run-rate which would give them a bit of a cushion in this group.
Namibia have dragged things back here - New Zealand scored 14 runs of last 13 balls. Those numbers are then ruined somewhat when Ruben Trumpelmann strays onto leg stump allowing Daryl Mitchell to clip the ball off his pads for four.
The powerplay is done - New Zealand 43-1.

It's not a flying start from New Zealand, but they can score more later if they build a base like England did the other day here.
Kane Williamson is the next batter. He was out for a duck last time out against Scotland but quickly gets off the mark with a single.
Another single brings the skipper back on strike and he finds the boundary for the first time with a wonderfully timed shot through point.
Guptill c Trumpelmann b Wiese 18 (NZ 30-1)
Guptill is gone!
Big wicket for Namibia. Martin Guptill looks to drive David Wiese but can only pick out Ruben Trumpelmann at mid-off.
Another left-armer JJ Smit is Namibia's fourth bowler - and is that a drop?
Harsh to call it that to be fair. Craig Williams at cover dives full stretch to his right and gets a hand to a powerful drive from Guptill. Saved a boundary there.
It was only a brief reprieve though as the next delivery if lofted over mid-on by Mitchell for four.

Mitchell is an exciting player to watch. Every ball he faces it looks as though something will happen.
David Wiese is the new bowler and Daryl Mitchell begins with a nice shot wide of backward point for three. Five singles follow to complete another productive over.
Guptill was really struggling with the heat towards the end of his innings against Scotland, dropping to his knee between deliveries. The sun is still beating down in Sharjah, though it is not meant to be as searingly hot as it was in Dubai on Wednesday.
Bit of uneven bounce for Ruben Trumpelmann to end the over as the ball seems to die on the pitch and only makes it through to the wicketkeeper on a second bounce.
Something to watch.
It's a good start from Ruben Trumpelmann. A play and miss from Martin Guptill as he looks to drive towards mid-off.
Guptill, perhaps irked by that, smacks the next ball through the offside for four.
Dismissive.
