Ben Stokes doesn't appear to be struggling with his run-up but he's pulled up for another no-ball.
He goes full and Daryl Mitchell plinks a drive into the surface, over the head of Stokes, but Stuart Broad comes sprawling across and keeps it a dot ball.
Is it time for a change?

My parents watched most of my matches live. There was one one-day tour of Sri Lanka where my Dad went on his own and roomed with somebody else in the touring group. I had a difficult tour with the bat and the guy my Dad roomed with was vocal in the fact he didn't believe I should be in the team. My Dad didn't say who he was until the last day when he left the room, and said "by the way, I'm Alastair Cook's Dad".

Good bowling from Matthew Potts. He goes really full, yorker length, and sneaks it under the bat of Tom Blundell.
It is a few inches wide of off-stump and there is a brief chat about whether the Kiwi keeper got an edge on it, but the noise was actually the bottom of the bat hitting the ground.
New Zealand will be hoping that Blundell and Daryl Mitchell can blunt this England fire.
Here's the run out of Will Young...
An absolute nightmare for New Zealand and the opener, who was looking really assured.

New Zealand haven't got enough at the moment with what's to come.

England will know that they are one wicket away from Michael Bracewell, who while he played nicely in the first innings is on debut, and then the tail. Opportunities await.
Tom Blundell picks up his first boundary with a lovely cover drive, before a single and no-ball add to the total.
This game is just simmering at the moment.

I wonder if the ball is kissing off the surface more with the floodlights on.

Matthew Potts gets Tom Blundell prodding at a ball in the channel but it is far away from catching the outside edge.
It is rather gloomy at Trent Bridge and the floodlights are on. It won't be easy for two new batters to settle.

England are right in this game now.

Ufff! Good delivery from Ben Stokes as he slides one past the outside edge of Daryl Mitchell.
I said England were sensing an opening, but the partnership of Mitchell and Tom Blundell have shared 195 at Lord's and 236 in the first innings here at Trent Bridge.
They are going to have to break it a lot earlier than that.
The crowd are starting to sense something, they are right behind Stokes and England.

The squealing cement mixer appears to have unsettled New Zealand's batting.

The fielding in this game hasn't been great but that was a brilliant play by England. Ollie Pope did well to give himself a split second to work out which end to throw to.
Young run out (Pope) 56 (NZ 131-4)
He did! England are sensing an opening!
There is real confusion between Will Young and Daryl Mitchell with the former waiting in the middle of the pitch and that little hesitation costs him, despite a full-length dive, with the opener about six inches short of his ground.
Get your tickets for tomorrow sorted! This could be on.
Has Will Young been run out?
There was a mix up between him and Daryl Mitchell.
Ben Stokes gathered in front of the stumps and then had to reach, quite a long way in truth, behind him to knock the stumps off.
Did he do it in time?

Another quiet over as a leg bye and a bye are added to the total.
If you want to go to Trent Bridge tomorrow then you're encouraged to get a ticket tonight from the Nottinghamshire website, rather than queuing tomorrow morning.
Here's how Matthew Potts picked up the wicket of Henry Nicholls...

Daryl Mitchell has just carried on where he left off in the first innings.
Ben Stokes offers him a drive and he picks up four through mid-off, which James Anderson can't get across to stop.
A couple more follows.

I give all children permission to be off school tomorrow. I'll sign all of the letters.
