Inside edge and it whistles past the leg stump. Jamie Overton is riding his luck. Nice work from Trent Boult at fine leg to stop the boundary.

Apart from Ben Stokes the rest of the dismissals were just bad technique, they couldn't play the swinging ball.
It was absolute quality from Trent Boult though. England were just bemused and didn't know how to play it.
A bowler on the top of his game who seems to be getting better and better.
Jonny Bairstow swivels on the spot and pulls Boult for four.
TV replays show that Wagner lbw shout from the previous over would have clattered into the leg stump. The bowler really liked it but his teammates didn't seem that interested. A let off for England.
"I rang my mum and I was just crying.
"My mum was saying: 'Is everything OK? What's happened? Have you had an accident?' I had to tell her: 'No, it's good news!'"
Meet Alice Davidson-Richardson, who could make her England Test debut against South Africa next week - four years after playing a handful of limited-overs games.
"If I went back now and told myself in those days that it would all be worth it, that this was going to happen, I really don't think I would have believed it. Happy doesn't cover how I feel."

A spectator in the crowd, standing up in the eyeline of Jonny Bairstow, has the England batter rattled. "Sit down," he screams, while pointing his bat at the fella.
Another member of the crowd, guilty of the same offence, then riles up Jamie Overton.
An angry Bairstow and the giant Jamie Overton are not two men you want to mess with.
Wagner strikes Overton on the pads. New Zealand ask the question but opt not to review. I think it would have been pretty close.

I passed David Boon wandering the streets of Leeds city centre around 9pm last night.
He was in jeans and a grey T-shirt rather than his match referee attire and it took me a little while to click where I knew him from.
The moustache is a giveaway, however. I can confirm it’s beautiful.

When this approach from England is working, it's sensational viewing. But when it's not working, it's a tough watch.
Jamie Overton takes a single for his first runs in Test cricket. He then scores his first boundary in Test cricket by driving Trent Boult through cover.

We've been lucky with the weather as the radar has shown two big storms have just passed by to the right of us.
That heavy weather may have helped with the swing though because England certainly weren't swinging it like this.
Eng 55-6
Well, at least something has gone right for England. Pitched outside the line. Nevertheless, a double wicket maiden for Neil Wagner in his first Test of the series.
Eng 55-6
Has Wagner got his third of the over?? Surely not?! Debutant Jamie Overton is struck on the pads. Given not out. New Zealand review. Did it pitch outside the line?

Geoffrey update: He hasn’t combusted… yet.
Foakes lbw Wagner 0 (Eng 44-6)
Three reds. Neil Wagner has two wickets in his first over of the series. Woeful England are in disarray.
It was swung in by Wagner and Foakes, looking to play into the leg side, was hit on the knee roll. It would have gone into leg stump.
Eng 55-6
Wagner has Ben Foakes trapped in front. And it's been given! Foakes has no choice but to review. Will height save him?

Headingley just does not know what to make of that. There was a strange bemusement.
Michael Vaughan
Former England captain on BBC Test Match Special
That's shocking, rubbish.
You can't play like that in Test cricket.
Stokes c Williamson b Wagner (Eng 55-5)
Oh dear. You kind of guessed this would happen. Ben Stokes was only going to play one way.
He dances down the wicket, swings hard and chips it straight to Kane Williamson at mid-off. It may not be what we expect in Test cricket. But it's what we have now come to expect from how this England team, and Stokes in particular, will approach Test cricket.
Michael Vaughan
Former England captain on BBC Test Match Special
Ben Stokes is saying to his side 'this is how we are going to play'.
Would I play that way? No. But this England side have committed to the cause of playing in this fashion.
And it certainly means one thing: you don't want to miss a ball.
And Stokes greets him by coming down the wicket and taking a huge golf swing. Play and a miss.
Neil Wagner is coming on to bowl!
