In comes Jack Leach. And the number 11 hits his first two deliveries for boundaries.
I just can't keep up.

Rachel T: Well played Jonny Bairstow, can’t ask for more than that!

The whole crowd rises for Jonny Bairstow. His hand is being shaken by Kane Williamson and a couple of other Kiwi players
He looks slightly annoyed with himself but he shouldn't be,
He came in at one of the most testing times a batter could face yesterday. A stern examination of his technique but he came through it.
An innings for the ages.
Bairstow c Boult b Bracewell 162 (Eng 351-9)
No double century! A spectacular innings comes to an end.
Jonny Bairstow dances down the pitch and mistimes his swing. Trent Boult takes a good, diving catch at long-off.
The whole of Headingley is on its feet, applauding a sensational knock from the Yorkshireman. Ben Stokes, sat on the balcony, does the same. Kane Williamson even heads over to congratulate Bairstow.
Pure brilliance.

No-one really celebrated that wicket, which shows where New Zealand are at the moment.
Broad b Southee 42 (Eng 351-8)
The cameo is over! Stuart Broad gives himself a bit too much room. He tries to adjust and defend but is beaten. The ball clatters into off stump.
There's no celebration from Southee. He just looks a bit relieved.
Lead by 18
Tim Southee bowls down the leg side and it deflects off Broad's pad for another boundary.
The partnership is now worth 51. Jonny Bairstow has nine of those runs.

What I like about Stuart Broad is at times he can bat like Monty Panesar, and at other times he can bring out Sir Garfield Sobers.
They look like they've been queuing since the quack of dawn.
Bairstow settles himself and goes up and over. Four.

Bracewell just tipped it over the bar.
Eng 339-7
It's a tough one but it could have stuck! Jonny Bairstow drills it back towards Bracewell. The spinner puts his hands up but can't hold on. That will sting a little.

It's a big snick for a first slip not to get a paw on it.
Mitchell was stood too wide there at first slip.
Lead by 7 runs
Edged and just out of wicketkeeper Tom Blundell's reach! Daryl Mitchell at first slip wasn't too far away either. Four fortunate runs.
Stuart Broad takes a step forward and pads away the first delivery. It's hit outside the line but if not offering a shot. Nevertheless, no review - would have been missing.

I say he won't.
If it's up it's going towards the jockeys in the West Stand.

Can Broad resist the temptation to try and put Bracewell into the Football Stand?
New Zealand return to spin. Back comes Michael Bracewell.

Look as this field for Jonny Bairstow.
They have one slip and everyone else is either three-quarters from the boundary or on the boundary.
