A dot second ball is followed by a bouncer. Too high and a wide is called as De Kock ducks well.
He then pounces on a short and wide one, driving through the covers for three.
Two more dots. The pressure continues to build in the powerplay.
South Africa can't get set as Reece Topley almost finds Quinton de Kock's outside edge first ball of the third over.
England have two slips in and might be considering a third.

There's some uneven bounce out there that is taking Janneman Malan by surprise.
Willey starts with four dots, good bowling as he gets the ball to spit off the surface.
The pressure builds on Janneman Malan who goes for a big swing fourth ball but ends up missing it by a mile.
He tries a more conventional forward block next up which goes for no run and gives Willey a maiden to start. Nice battle.
Former Yorkshire player David Willey - now at Northampton - has been handed the ball.

That last ball was where you need to bowl here. The first few balls were a bit too floaty, just trying to put the ball in a good place.
Steady start to the innings as Reece Topley looks to find his line and length.
Janneman Malan and Quinton de Kock are happy to rotate the strike with some singles.
Oooh a cracker of a final delivery just misses the edge of De Kock's bat. Close one.

There is still a bit of a slope at Headingley. You really do have to work hard at the one end where you're running up it, but then it's also hard to find your rhythm running down it.
It takes some getting used to as a bowler.
And a clip to the legside gets South Africa off the mark. There looks to be some movement out there.

The middle overs will be key for both teams. We've seen the spinners play a really important role in holding up the scoring in those overs throughout the series.
Reece Topley has the ball in his hand. He'll be bowling to Janneman Malan.
Let's go.

England have been bowled out in their last five ODIs, and that hasn't happened since 1999.

The outfield is very quick at Headingley but it does spin sometimes too.
England like a chase, they like being under pressure. So sometimes, having a target to chase can really make you play in the aggressive manner that Jos Buttler and Matthew Mott want to play in.
It has been a strange series so far, it's been like ODI cricket of the past where it's more gritty, and less razzle dazzle than we're used to but that's still been amazing to watch. It's had quality in a different way.
Five minutes until we get going.
Headingley is slowly filling up.

It's always a good batting surface at Headingley but with the weather recently, it is hard to know what a good score will be.
The batting has been hard to predict in the series so far. Besides Rassie van der Dussen, batters have found it hard to get those big scores.
There is rain around this afternoon so DLS could come in to play with a chase.
While England men's series with South Africa is in the balance, England women have been nothing short of dominant against the Proteas this summer.
Yesterday they overcame an improved performance from South Africa to comfortably win the second Twenty20 by six wickets at Worcester.
The hosts chased 149 with an over to spare, Nat Sciver hitting a composed 41-ball 47 and Danni Wyatt a more aggressive 39 from 24 balls.

Victory meant England extended their lead to 12-2 in the multi-format series. The final T20 takes place at Derby on Monday at 18:30 BST and is live on BBC Two.
