Nortje drives Robinson into the deep, forcing Anderson into a dive that leaves the veteran grimacing, more in frustration than pain.
Ollie Robinson bagged his third Test five-for with the wicket of the South African all-rounder.
Anrich Nortje played nicely at Lord's but this is a very, very different situation to that one.

Stuart Broad deserves that, he has toiled hard after lunch. Chances have come but not been taken, so he has taken it into his own hands.
Maharaj b Broad 18 (SA 110-9)
A huge under-edge onto the stumps and Broad gets another.
Keshav Maharaj was trying to get on with it, but that was not the ball to be trying to pull away and the ball flew down into the timbers to give Board a wicket his recent efforts deserved.
Stuart Broad is coming in around the wicket to the left-handed Kagiso Rabada, who chips one up over the non-striker that lands just in front of the diving Ollie Robinson.

The conditions have been in their favour but you have to make the most of it and England have been phenomenal. They have been patient, asked the right questions for a long period of time and got their rewards.
Kagiso Rabada is in, but Keshav Maharaj is improvising to try to get as many runs as he can, stepping away to hit a couple of short ones into the deep.

Joy for Ollie Robinson. He has been the pick of the bowlers today.
He holds the ball up to the crowd. Well bowled.
Jansen c Root b Robinson 30 (SA 99-8)
That felt inevitable.
Robinson has been making Jansen prod uncertainly and finally he takes the edge, and the chance is taken with consummate ease at slip by Root.
Robinson's third five-wicket haul in Tests, and thoroughly deserved.

Keshav Maharaj has now reached 1,000 runs in Test cricket. He also has more than 150 Test wickets so becomes just the seventh South African man to achieve that double.

Jimmy Anderson has been fielding on the boundary and at one stage called for a quick visit from the physio. The crowd behind him just about broke into song, which Anderson acknowledged with a weak wave. He hasn't been used a lot since his opening burst.
Maharaj is getting going, wristily pulling Robinson high over midwicket for four.
He tries again off the next and it loops up but lands a few metres short of Jack Leach as he comes in off the rope.

That really has zipped off the pitch. A nasty ball that nearly knocked Foakes off his feet. Where has that come from?
That's nice from Maharaj as he rocks back, gets on top of the bounce and hits Broad past point for four. Off the next ball, Broad zips one through his defences, over the stumps with a delivery that slams into Foakes' gloves.
The crowd are really getting behind Broad now, he's been excellent since lunch.

Jansen has been itching to get going. That is probably the best cricket shot of the day.
That's a nice drive from Jansen, back past Robinson's right hand for a rare boundary. Robinson drops in a short one next ball that the lofty all-rounder manages to duck under.

Stuart Broad is a real handful at the moment. He is moving the ball off the pitch and getting a bit of extra bounce. He is in great rhythm and senses more wickets.
Stuart Broad did get the second session off to a fine start for England.

It is a technical chance as Pope definitely got his hands to it before it bounced. But it would have been an absolutely brilliant catch.
