The left-hander has refused to allow himself to be tied down by spinner Simon Harmer since tea, with an elegantly struck six over mid-on the shot of his innings so far. Somerset are now 70 ahead.

At the moment, Leicestershire are doing well in their response to Durham's 428 all out and Hassan Azad, who batted all day last week for a century which saved a draw against Worcestershire, is now on 45 from 141 balls.
At the moment taking 20 wickets to win this match from a Durham point of view is going to take some doing, but break this partnership and that could be a different story.
Colin Ackermann appears to have just been dropped by keeper Ned Eckersley off Matty Potts' bowling when on 34.

You don't often see a short ball from Simon Harmer and Steven Davies seizes on it with relish and pulls it away for four. He is 34 not out and Somerset have surpassed their meagre first-innings total but their lead is still only 45.

Hassan Azad and Colin Ackermann have just posted a 50 partnership for Leicestershire, who are 103-2, replying to Durham's 428 all out.
Glamorgan are hanging on against Nottinghamshire following the loss of Sam Northeast for 85 and are now 263-8, 39 runs in arrears.
Derbyshire are striving for their first wicket of the final session, with Sussex on 112-4 after the home side declared on 505-8 earlier in the day.

Somerset reach three figures but then lose the crucial wicket of Matt Renshaw, who tries to flick Sam Cook away through the leg-side but fails to make contact and is lbw. They are just 30 runs ahead as Lewis Gregory arrives to partner Steven Davies.
Gloucestershire 227 v Yorkshire 279-5
Harry Brook straight drives Ryan Higgins for four and then hoists the next delivery over the rope at mid-wicket to post a 50 partnership with Dom Bess from 83 balls - and also push Yorkshire lead past 50.
Brook is now 94 not out and has a fifth first-class century firmly in his sights.
Northeast b Paterson 85 (Notts 302 v Glamorgan 248-8)
Glamorgan lose two wickets in the space of three deliveries, with Michael Neser bowled by Joey Evison and then, at the start of the next over, Sam Northeast losing his off stump to a full-length delivery from Dane Paterson.
Northeast hit eight fours in his 162-ball innings and he and David Lloyd, who made 76 earlier in the day, have played the main hands in ensuring Glamorgan will not be too far behind if the tail is unable to wag on this occasion.

At a run rate of 2.44 Kent aren't exactly attacking.
But their opening pair of Zak Crawley and Ben Compton are doing a quietly excellent job.

No joy yet for Gloucestershire in the final session in Bristol, where Yorkshire have claimed their second batting point with a Dom Bess cover drive off Ryan Higgins for four taking their total past 250. Harry Brook is still there at the other end, with 81 to his name.

A terrific session for Derbyshire who added 68 quick runs to set up a declaration, and then took four Sussex wickets.
Alex Thomson raced to a maiden first-class half-century from just 49 balls, and Nick Potts smashed a huge six over the members pavilion on his debut, before removing the Sussex skipper with his ninth delivery, a decision that didn’t meet with Tom Haines approval.
However, the icing on the cake was the dismissal of Cheteshwar Pujara, who was caught behind just before tea leaving Sussex a mountain to climb.

The final session is under way in Taunton and Steven Davies has just picked up four runs through the backward point area off Sam Cook.
