Adam Lyth tries to drive a wide one from Ben Charlesworth and the ball flies to first slip where Miles Hammond takes an excellent catch to his left.
Lyth put on 67 with Dawid Malan, who has now been joined by Harry Brook with just a few minutes to go until lunch,.

Career-best figures for Craig Overton who has Shane Snater in a tangle at Taunton to claim his seventh wicket.
The ball is short of a length, Snater tries to duck, but realises it hasn't got up enough to pass over his head, tries a sort of protective shovel shot with the bat and edges to James Hildreth at first slip.
Durham 427-8 v Leicestershire
Another wicket at Chester-le-Street as Matty Potts is removed by Will Davis for 23.
Durham are still on top though, as Ben Raine reaches his 50 off 93 balls.
Masood c Rizwan b Coles 239 (Derbyshire 410-6 v Sussex)
A moment of light comedy at Derby where Shan Masood is finally caught behind by Pakistan team-mate Mohammad Rizwan.
The left-hander attempts a reverse sweep off spinner James Coles, but gets his timing all wrong and the ball lobs up off his wrist, allowing Rizwan the simplest of catches.
Masood batted for 459 minutes, faced 340 deliveries and hit 24 fours. Fabulous innings.
Kent v Lancashire 452-5
Phil Salt continues his attacking pursuits and takes Lancashire beyond 450.
He's on 87 from 101 deliveries. Kent need to remove him ASAP.
Gloucestershire 227 v Yorkshire 113-2
Adam Lyth sweeps with authority and collects four runs off Zafar Gohar's left-arm spin to carry him to a 125-ball fifty. He has nine fours and a six in total, and parther Dawid Malan is now on 36.

We had a beautiful sunny morning here but it's now gone a bit overcast and gloomy again, just like yesterday.
However, progress remains OK from a Durham point of view. They are currently 422-7 but missed a final batting point by just two runs.
The only wicket to fall was that of David Bedingham, caught and bowled in the fourth over of the morning by Beuren Hendricks for 191.
It was the bowler's first wicket of the season and the only chance I can remember the batsman giving in a brilliant innings. He faced 256 balls and hit 20 fours and 3 sixes.
Nottinghamshire could do with an injection of pace.
They can't rely on Stuart Broad today though. He's down the road watching the footy.

Pakistan's Shan Masood has advanced his score to 239 not out for Derbyshire, who are now 402-4 against Sussex - with four batting points in the bag.
Durham continue to pile up the runs against Leicestershire, with Ben Raine and Matty Potts sharing an unbroken half-century stand to boost their total to 422-7.

The Hampshire counter-attack begins.
Keith Barker has his second scalp, pinning Jamie Smith leg before for 14.
One more wicket before lunch and Hampshire will believe they can limit their opponents to less than 400.
Wheater c Davies b Overton 4 (Somerset 109 v Essex 144-8)
Adam Wheater looks to the heavens and well he might - that certainly wasn't a stroke to look back on with any pride.
It's a wide one from Craig Overton, but Wheater's feet are anchored and he edges through to Steven Davies as he tries to drive.
Overton now has figures of 6-39. - one more victim and it will be a career-best.
Gloucestershire 227 v Yorkshire 103-2
They've had to work for their runs at times but Adam Lyth and Dawid Malan have laid the foundations for a substantial partnership for Yorkshire at Bristol. Lyth is 43 not out, his fellow left-hander is on 34, and they have added 55 since the downfall of James Wharton.
Croft c Robinson b Qadri 155 (Kent v Lancashire 440-5)
Agonising. Steven Croft falls one run short of his First-class highest total, edging Hamidullah Qadri behind to the keeper.
He cuts a frustrated figure as he leaves the square at Canterbury. A great innings though, one that has put Lancashire on top in this fixture.

I’d be inclined to go with Broad for a couple of years until a longer term replacement can be found and developed, but I suspect it will be the more obvious choice of Stokes.
