    So far, Northamptonshire's decision to enforce the follow-on has been justified, with Essex three wickets down second time around.

    Nick Browne and Sir Alastair Cook began well with an opening stand of 41, but both are now back in the pavilion, along with Tom Westley.

    Paul Walter (8) and Matt Critchley (1) are the not-out batters, with Essex still 128 behind.

    Despite those two quick wickets, Surrey have failed to dislodge Chris Dent, who has now advanced to 150 and secured a third batting bonus point for Gloucestershire in the process.

    After losing Ben Slater in the first over, Notts are now 43-1 chasing 233 to beat Worcestershire. Haseeb Hameed and Ben Duckett are going along nicely.

    Glamorgan were bowled out for 387 by Derbyshire, earning a first-innings lead of 19. Derbyshire have just started their second innings.

    Sussex are all out for a mammoth 538 against Durham. That's a first-innings lead of 315.

    And Leicestershire's batters are fighting at Lord's. They're 219-6 and now trail by only two runs, with Ben Mike unbeaten on 65.
