Alex Lees and Sean Dickson came within one run of equalling the Championship record of 314 for the opening partnership for Durham, before Lees smashed a full toss from Mason Crane to mid-wicket where Tom Alsop took a good catch
In the same over Crane removed Dickson caught behind by Mohammad Rizwan, but this delay has scuppered any outside chance of an unlikely Sussex victory.

Ollie Robinson steers Matthew Revis away past point rather awkwardly but it goes down to the boundary to bring up his second fifty of the game.
And Kent are now only behind by two runs with four wickets in hand. They'll be feeling increasingly confident of salvaging something from the game at Headingley.
