Wells lbw b S Cook 6 (Lancashire 14-4 v Essex 391)
Another one gone for Lancashire!
Luke Wells shoulders arms to another excellent Sam Cook delivery, which moves in off the seam.
Absolutely plumb!
Yorks 160-3 v Warwicks 244
Adam Lyth pulls Henry Brookes dismissively for four to post a 50 partnership with Harry Brook, who celebrates by sweeping Danny Briggs to the boundary in the next over. These two are going well now.
Northants v Kent 369-5
'When you're down and troubled, and you need a helping hand, and nothing, nothing is going right' as James Taylor put it, you don't want to see Darren Stevens coming to the crease.
The Kent veteran clouts a ball from Matt Kelly away on the up for a boundary and a single two balls later takes him to 11 not out.
Somerset 211 v Hampshire 75-1
Players back on the field and Nick Gubbins resumes with a four off Lewis Gregory.
Still a possible 45 overs remaining in the day here.
Lancashire 10-3 v Essex 391
Dane Vilas sees off the hat-trick ball from Jamie Porter as Lancashire get a couple from overthrows.
The Red Rose firmly under the pump here.
Middlesex v Durham 281-7
Toby Roland-Jones overpitches and that's four for Liam Trevaskis to take him to a 108-ball 50, his first of the season. This is good solid batting by Durham with every batsman - bar Ben Raine - reaching double figures.
Yorks 153-3 v Warwicks 244
Champions Warwickshire need another wicket.
Yorkshire's total passes 150 as Harry Brook shows good placement to collect four off Nathan McAndrew.
The England new boy is 22 not out and Adam Lyth is on 63.
Lancashire 8-3 v Essex 391
Almost another one for Sam Cook as he appeals for LBW against Luke Wells.
The new ball is working wonders for the visitors.
Lancashire skipper Dane Vilas now at the crease with a lot of work to do.
Croft c A Cook b Porter 0 (Lancashire 8-3 v Essex 391)
Gone! First ball. Two wickets in two balls for Jamie Porter!!
Steven Croft is drawn into one just outside off stump and Sir Alastair Cook snaffles it superbly low down at first slip.
Joy for Essex; Lancashire in a whole heap of trouble.
Bohannon lbw b Porter 0 (Lancashire 8-2 v Essex 391)
Jamie Porter backs up the work Sam Cook is doing.
He is on target once again and when Josh Bohannon misses it in trying to steer to leg, the finger goes up.
Middlesex v Durham 277-7
Matty Potts is the Championship's leading wicket-taker this season with 35.
Wonder what he thinks about Durham's decision to rest him this week on the ground where he could be stepping out for his Test debut against New Zealand next month.
Yorks 142-3 v Warwicks 244
Adventurous.
Harry Brook is lured down the wicket by Danny Briggs' left-arm spin - he doesn't quite get to the pitch but still clears cover for four runs.
Ben Duckett has gone for 86 at Trent Bridge. The off spin of Alex Thomson with the breakthrough for Derbyshire with Nottinghamshire 206-4.
And another wicket for Tim Murtagh and Middlesex, with Durham 276-7.
Yorks 138-3 v Warwicks 244
Adam Lyth hasn't played many false shots in this innings but that certainly was one. He tries to turn Nathan McAndrew to leg, but the ball flies away off the edge and over Danny Briggs' head for four. Lyth is now 60 not out, with Harry Brook on 10.
Northants v Kent 354-5
Kent fell just short of a fourth batting point at Northampton and they have now lost their fifth wicket.
Ollie Robinson was the man to go, caught at first slip off Matt Kelly. It was a low chance but Ricardo Vasconcelos clung on with both hands to send Robinson on his way for 21.
Lancashire 5-1 v Essex 391
Almost two in two balls for Sam Cook.
He strikes number three Josh Bohannon on the pads first up and he and the slip cordon go up in unison, but this one is turned down.
It may have been sliding down leg.
Jennings lbw b S Cook 4 (Lancashire 5-1 v Essex 391)
The first wicket down.
Sam Cook has been right on the money here for Essex and he gets one to nip back in to Keaton Jennings and the opener is given out LBW by Peter Hartley.
Worcs 266-2 v Leics 148
What a season this is for Jack Haynes.
He turns youngster Rehan Ahmed to leg for a single and reaches his third century in successive matches from 174 balls.
Haynes scored 120 not out against Durham, 133 against Derbyshire and now this.
It's a 'coming of age' summer for the 21-year-old and his stand with Azhar Ali is now worth 213.
Yorks 126-3 v Warwicks 244
Adam Lyth clips Nathan McAndrew down to fine leg for four to reach a 161-ball 50. As the number of deliveries faced would suggest, he has batted with great care, but he is certainly doing a valuable job for his side.
England new boy Harry Brook is eight not out at the other end.
Quote MessageLyth is the key man - for both sides. He's been the anchor for Yorkshire. It's been a masterclass in watchful batting."
Graham Orange, BBC West Yorkshire Sport
Durham have lost an early wicket at Lord's where Middlesex veteran Tim Murtagh has removed Ned Eckersley for 58. The visitors are 261-6.
Ben Duckett continues to motor for Nottinghamshire on 77 with his team 191-3 and closing in on Derbyshire's 260.
