Awaiting the decision, but I would be astonished if Gloucestershire are not batting again as they trail by 256.

This is an invaluable innings from the South Africa batter.
A second 50 to go with two hundreds in three Championship games for Northants. He is playing a great hand in the context of this match.
And on that form, he could make the Proteas' team for the first Test against England at Lord's on 17 August.

Graeme van Buuren cracks his tenth four of the innings and that brings up his 50.
It is probably not going to prevent a follow-on but he has shown good resistance against the Hampshire attack and he gets a generous round of applause from the Cheltenham crowd.

Dan Worrall strikes again as he traps Dan Lawrence LBW for the second time in the match.
That's a fourth wicket for Aussie one-day international Worrall - and his 10th in the match, his second 10-wicket match haul, having also done it for South Australia against Western Australia at Adelaide in November 2018, but his first in this country.
