Notts all-rounder Steven Mullaney has passed the milestone of 5,000 first-class runs scored at Trent Bridge.
The stand between Leus du Plooy and Harry Came is now worth 130 for Derbyshire, who are 188-4 against Durham. Du Plooy is 76 not out and Came needs two more for his fifty.
Kent v Essex 159-2
There will be no 74th first-class century for Sir Alastair Cook.
Grant Stewart gets the ball in the right area and Cook is drawn into an edge to first slip.
The former England captain will feel like he has missed out on a big score there.
Hants 60-2 v Northants
He had to reach for that one from Jack White but Felix Organ made a good enough contact to collect his sixth boundary and move to 41 not out. Nick Gubbins is still on nought.
Somerset v Gloucs 202-1
Gloucestershire have their first batting point at Taunton as Ollie Price rocks onto the back foot and carves Sajid Khan away for four. He is 30 not out and Marcus Harris needs three more for his century.
Kent v Essex 158-1
Fours in successive balls off Matt Milnes from captain Tom Westley as he and Sir Alastair Cook put on a 50 partnership.
Westley has picked up where Nick Browne left off.
Hants 56-2 v Northants
Joe Weatherley plays limply forward to Ben Sanderson and Emilio Gay dives to his left from second slip to take his second catch of the game. Nick Gubbins is the new batter for Hampshire.
Somerset v Gloucs 192-1
A new Josh Davey over and Marcus Harris steers his opening delivery through backward point for four to move into the 90s.
The Australian already has three Championship centuries this season - will this be number four?
Kent v Essex 149-1
A half-volley is dispatched by Sir Alastair Cook to the boundary and he is now more than three-quarters of the way to a century.
He is making this look very easy.
Lancashire 157-0 v Yorkshire
David Lloyd is currently regaling listeners on BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra with stories of his footballing prowess.
Bumble described himself as a creative left-sided player for a team called the Bull's Head, imagining himself to be like former Manchester City and Spain star David Silva.
He has talked about one match where two down after ten minutes, his captain's message was, "We've tried kicking the ball, let's just kick them!" The result was a comeback 3-2 win.
Although the biggest news is that a proud Lancastrian like Lloyd is now living over the border in Yorkshire!
Derbyshire 164-4 v Durham
Martin Emmerson
BBC Radio Newcastle
This one has followed the pattern of most matches this season. A few early wickets. The ball softens. The pitch flattens out and then the runs come.
Derbyshire were 58-4 before lunch but the fightback began just before the break when Leus Du Plooy was joined in the middle by Harry Came.
Du Plooy reached his sixth half-century of the season in 73 balls. He has managed to convert two of the others into centuries. They were in both innings against Durham at CLS in July. Came has batted nicely for his 39 so far.
One other thing. The first ball lasted a whole 40 overs. That's silver watch territory given the lifespan of some this year.
Hants 46-1 v Northants
Felix Organ has made a positive start since the resumption at the Ageas Bowl. He strokes Jack White through extra cover for four and moves on to 31 not out.
Somerset v Gloucs 182-1
Slightly fortunate as Marcus Harris edges Josh Davey into the gap to second slip's left for four - but it brings up a 50 partnership with Ollie Price. Harris is now 85 not out.
Lancashire 150-0 v Yorkshire
Keaton Jennings uses his feet smartly to Dom Bess and plants him over the ropes, four balls after he had done similarly to bring up four.
This is exactly the start Lancashire wanted as a couple from Luke Wells brings up the 150 partnership.
Hants 35-1 v Northants
After a rain delay of about three and a half hours, we have play at the Ageas Bowl.
Ben Sanderson starts off for Northants, with Felix Organ on strike. Organ drives his third delivery past mid-off for four runs.
Nottinghamshire are struggling on 122-5 after 42 overs against Leicestershire. Chris Wright has claimed his third victim, with Lyndon James caught for 16.
Worcestershire are trying to regroup following the loss of Ed Pollock for 54 and are 126-4 against Glamorgan.
Derbyshire have now progressed to 157-4 in the 44th over against Durham - Harry Came has just cleared the rope off Liam Trevaskis.
Somerset v Gloucs 163-1
Well, well.
Marcus Harris takes two steps down the pitch and lifts Sajid Kahn back over his head for the sweetest of sixes.
Harris now has 72 and he can be a very hard man to dislodge once he's well set. Hope we haven't put the mockers on him with that statement.
Derbys 133-4 v Durham
Leus du Plooy reaches a 72-ball 50 by driving hard into the ground and seeing the ball bounce over bowler Ben Raine and run away for four.
He celebrates with three more in the same over to take his boundary tally in this innings to 12.
Lancashire 129-0 v Yorkshire
September, with the 10.30am starts, is supposed to be the time of year when seam bowlers are licking their lips.
Well, it has just turned 2pm and off spinner Dom Bess has just completed his 15th over!
He has settled in nicely to his work after lunch.
But at the other end, Keaton Jennings has just hit Steve Patterson for three fours in an over to overtake his opening partner Luke Wells.
Jennings has 66 to Wells' 62.
Somerset v Gloucs 152-1
This hasn't been one of Lewis Gregory's best days.
Ollie Price drives a wide half-volley for four and Marcus Harris does likewise to end the over as the Gloucestershire total passes 150.
Gregory has 0-39 from eight so far.
