    Yorkshire decide to give spinner Dom Bess his first bowl of the innings and Ollie Pope reverse sweeps his opening delivery to reach 100 off 102 balls. Perfectly timed and he has looked a real class act in this knock.

    It's his second Championship hundred of the season and 15th in all first-class cricket.

    He tries the same tactic next ball and collects four to mid-wicket as he and Jordan Clark post a 50 partnership, though this one looks a good deal more agricultural in execution by comparison to the first.

    Pope is 88 not out.
