Rain stops play at New Roadpublished at 14:24 British Summer Time 26 September 2022
Worcs 84-3 v Middx
More rain in Worcester now.
The chilly northerly wind perhaps bringing it down from Edgbaston.

Worcs 84-3 v Middx
More rain in Worcester now.
The chilly northerly wind perhaps bringing it down from Edgbaston.
Warwickshire 3-0 v Hampshire
The first of a potential 55 overs today is bowled by ex-Warwickshire man Keith Barker.
He opens with five dots before Rob Yates takes three off the final ball.
The Bears have already seen Yorkshire collect two points today and Kent one, so there is even more catch-up than just a few hours ago.
Derbyshire v Leicestershire 146-5
One game that hasn't got a mention today is the Division Two match between Derbyshire and bottom side Leicestershire.
The Foxes are looking to end the season by picking up their first win but they're in a spot of bother having just lost a fifth wicket.
Ben Aitchison has taken three wickets for the hosts.
Warwickshire v Hampshire (14:15 BST start)
Good news! The rain has cleared at Edgbaston and they're going to start in five minutes.
Hampshire have won the toss and elected to bowl first, so Warwickshire will bat under what look like tricky conditions.
The Bears need to win this match to stand any chance of staying up.
Yorkshire v Gloucestershire 128-7
Catching practise for Tom Kohler-Cadmore at first slip.
Zafar Gohar hangs the bat out to one from Steve Patterson and he has a wicket on his Yorkshire farewell.
That was the sort of catch you see in the warm-ups before a day's play.
Lancashire 159-2 v Surrey
Lancashire have made nice progress in the hour since lunch.
Keaton Jennings and Steven Croft have put on 63 for the third wicket with Croft up to 33.
But Jennings has a scare when he turns one from Dan Moriarty onto the foot of Ryan Patel at short leg.
Technically a chance, but it was past Patel's hands before he could react.
Notts 150-1 v Durham
Absolutely ideal so far today for Notts.
Haseeb Hameed, twice driving George Drissell's off spin to the cover fence, has reached 80.
Matt Montgomery, now 39, has struck six fours of his own as the century partnership is raised.
Notts only need a maximum of seven points to secure promotion to Division One.
Yorkshire v Gloucestershire 118-6
James Bracey strokes Matt Fisher out to the deep square leg boundary to bring up his 50.
With what has gone on at the other end, Gloucestershire have really needed Bracey's 70-ball contribution.
Both Yorkshire and Kent are in the ascendancy.
This doesn't bode well for Warwickshire who are still waiting to start their game against Hampshire at Edgbaston.
Kent v Somerset 49-4
Kent in business soon after the lunchbreak.
Nathan Gilchrist roughs up George Bartlett with one that hits him in the groin area and the next ball, Bartlett fences at one outside off and it goes through for a simple catch to the wicketkeeper.
Lancashire 128-2 v Surrey
Keaton Jennings nudges Kemar Roach off his hips for a couple and that is his 50.
It's a third of the season, to go with four hundreds including that mammoth 318 against Somerset at Southport.
He must be pushing for a place in the England squad for the tour of Pakistan if they decide to take another opener.
Sussex v Glam 107-2
The show's over for David Lloyd.
Full and straight from Sean Hunt, left-arm around the wicket, and Lloyd drives at it and misses.
Struck on the knee-roll of the back pad in front of middle - out I'd say.
Big relief for Sussex.
Yorkshire v Gloucestershire 102-6
Bowled him!
Two wickets in four balls for Ben Coad. No umpire's help required this time as he knocks the off stump of Jack Taylor out of the ground.
Two for Coad to go with four for Matt Fisher and the second bowling point for Yorkshire.
Northants v Essex 107-4 - rain delay
Don Topley
BBC Essex
The first hour belonged totally to Essex having been asked to bat and didn’t lose any wickets. Essex made it it to 76, before Sir Alastair Cook was bowled by Tom Taylor for 31. Both Cook and Nick Browne enjoyed lives, as Emilio Gay dropped them both, both on 26.
Browne was next to go, spooning an on-drive to Luke Procter at mid-on, one short of a half century. Dan Lawrence came in and lost his wicket the first ball allowing Ben Sanderson the chance of a hat-trick.
The second hour saw Northants wrestle back the initiative - second, Gay, made amends, to aid the dismissal of Matt Critchley, off the bowling of Jack White, as Essex made it to lunch on 107-4 before rain delayed the restart.
Yorkshire v Gloucestershire 100-5
Only a brief stoppage in Leeds and it only takes four balls for Yorkshire to get another wicket.
Graeme van Buuren had struck one four in those balls, but he is pinned in front by a good ball from Ben Coad.
He goes for 25 after a partnership of 53 with James Bracey.
Sussex v Glam 100-1
David Lloyd is trying to roll on his form from last week.
He's reached a 49-ball fifty with his second six - pulled over mid-wicket off 20-year-old left-armer Sean Hunt.
He and India's Shubman Gill have brought the hundred up for the visitors, who won the toss, in only 20 overs.
Warwickshire v Hampshire - start delayed
Heavier rain is now pouring out of the skies above Edgbaston and any hopes of an imminent start to play have been dashed.
This could be another lengthy delay.
Don't forget, Warwickshire need to win this match to stand any real chance of survival.
Sussex v Glamorgan 89-1
Nick Webb
BBC Radio Wales
Glamorgan captain David Lloyd has made a positive start in their chase for maximum points in the promotion push, knowing they have to at least better Middlesex’s result.
After a rain-delayed start, he decided to bat on a Hove pitch which has little grass at one end and none at all on a length at the other.
Lloyd and Eddie Byrom raced to 49 in the ninth over before Byrom was caught behind off Brad Currie, the pick of five seamers used by Sussex in 14 overs before lunch- which was strangely taken on time after just an hour’s play.
Lloyd was dropped at slip off Currie on 19 and raced onto his half-century off 49 balls as he smashed successive leg-side sixes off Sean Hunt, with India’s Shubman Gill making a relatively quiet start at the other end.
The match is being played in rapidly changing weather, with blue skies at the start of play replaced by threatening skies at the start of the second session.
Yorkshire v Gloucestershire 95-4
The rain has swept in over the skies of Leeds and after 13 minutes of the afternoon session, the players have gone off.
Warwickshire v Hampshire - start delayed
There is a bit of a hokey-cokey going on at Edgbaston with the covers coming on and off again as the Birmingham weather can't make its mind up.
The covers are currently off the square, but not off the wicket.
All it means is further delays to any potential start.
