Keaton Jennings has looked good so far and he tickles a single off Darren Stevens to bring up his half-century from 44 balls.
Steven Croft, meanwhile, is finally off the mark with a single of his own.

Josh Bohannon was searching for something. After making just five off 20 balls he was looking for that boundary ball to get himself going, but all he could do was pick out fine leg.

Harry Podmore gets his reward for some accurate bowling, with Josh Bohannon looking frustrated as he launches a pull that flies high towards deep square leg. Grant Stewart dives in to take the catch and Spitfires' spirits are raised again.

Tough chance for Darren Stevens - but it was a chance! Keaton Jennings drills a half-volley back down the wicket and Stevens flings up an arm but can't grab it as the ball races away to the rope.

Having looked so good in the early part of his innings, Keaton Jennings looks like he's maybe now trying to force it a bit.
But 63-1 after the powerplay is a good start.

Kent make a double bowling change, with Harry Podmore joining the attack.
Podmore was the Spitfires' hero with the bat when they squeezed home against Lancashire during the group stage and they'd love him to knock over a couple of wickets here. Podmore makes a good start, with four runs coming from his first over to complete the powerplay.

A ripple of expectation among the crowd as Darren Stevens is brought on to bowl - but his first delivery is a gentle one outside off stump and Keaton Jennings gratefully cuts it for four.
The rest of the veteran all-rounder's first over is fairly tidy, with Jennings and Josh Bohannon adding a single apiece.

We've seen Keaton Jennings advance out of his crease a couple of times already against the seamers and he does it to good effect here, taking on Nathan Gilchrist and flaying him to the midwicket boundary.
That brings up 50 for Lancashire and they're easily up with the required run-rate.
