  1. Over 6published at 15:30 British Summer Time 17 September 2022

    Lancs 44-1 (target 307) v Kent

That wicket has visibly lifted the Spitfires and Nathan Gilchrist is now bounding in with more purpose.

Keaton Jennings collects three more runs in this over, but Josh Bohannon is yet to get off the mark.

  2. Over 5published at 15:27 British Summer Time 17 September 2022

    Lancs 40-1 (target 307) v Kent

Some element of control for Grant Stewart in that over, although Luke Wells hit him for four before prodding back a return catch.

Josh Bohannon is the new man at the wicket for Lancashire.

How important could that wicket be? Kent really needed that.

A few quick wickets can turn the momentum back in this game.

Breakthrough for Kent as Luke Wells obligingly chips Grant Stewart straight back into the bowler's hands.

Relief as much as exhilaration on the face of Stewart - that opening pair were threatening to take the game away from the Spitfires already.

  5. Over 4published at 15:21 British Summer Time 17 September 2022

    Lancs 36-0 (target 307) v Kent

The boundaries continue to flow for the Red Rose, with Keaton Jennings smashing three consecutive fours in this Nathan Gilchrist over.

Gilchrist is struggling to find his line and at the moment this is looking more like a T20 powerplay than a 50-over final.

  6. Make that ball talk, Kentpublished at 15:19 British Summer Time 17 September 2022

    Kent 306-6, Lancs 28-0

    Ben Watts
    BBC Radio Kent

The Lancashire openers are looking very comfortable out there. The Kent bowlers are desperately hoping to get that ball talking.

  7. Over 3published at 15:17 British Summer Time 17 September 2022

    Lancs 24-0 (target 307) v Kent

Now Luke Wells records his first boundary of the innings and again it comes on the off-side, a well-placed stroke off the back foot against Grant Stewart.

Wells follows that by whipping Stewart off his pads for four more and it's early days in this chase, but Lancashire are already looking very comfortable.

  8. Over 2published at 15:13 British Summer Time 17 September 2022

    Lancs 14-0 (target 307) v Kent

Keaton Jennings looks in good nick here as he collects his second boundary of the innings, a sweetly struck cover drive off Nathan Gilchrist.

He might have taken four more off the final ball of the over, but it foiled by Harry Finch's diving stop at gully.

  9. Over 1published at 15:07 British Summer Time 17 September 2022

    Lancs 6-0 (target 307) v Kent

Grant Stewart gets proceedings under way as Kent bid to defend their total of 306-6.

Stewart is fairly accurate until the fifth ball of the over, which is a wide full toss and punched to the cover boundary by Keaton Jennings.

  10. Back underway againpublished at 15:06 British Summer Time 17 September 2022

    Kent 306-6, Lancs 4-0

Keaton Jennings gets things going for Lancashire with the first boundary of the reply.

  11. Kent go past 300 againpublished at 14:54 British Summer Time 17 September 2022

On-loan Notts all-rounder Joey Evison hit his second highest score in List A cricket

300-plus scores have been the norm in this season's One-Day Cup.

Prior to this game there had been 46 of them in 74 completed matches in this year's competition.

That takes it to 47. Of which Kent have done it five times in nine innings.

    Will there be a 48th?

Well, Lancashire have not done it quite as often. But they have gone past 300 three times in their last four innings, including in the quarter-final and semi-final. Each time with the help of a centurion - Keaton Jennings, Steven Croft and Dane Vilas respectively.

And, on this same record-breaking track on which both Notts and England have in the past posted record-breaking scores, if one of them makes a century today, then you would think they have a very good chance.

    Kent 306-6 (50 overs)

    Scott Read
BBC Radio Lancashire at Trent Bridge

Darren Stevens is an iconic figure, not just in Canterbury - and that was a tremendous cameo innings at the end here to cheer the Kent fans.

But, after being ragged at times in the field, the way Lancashire have wrestled that back makes you wonder.

I suspect that they were at one point fearing something way in excess of 307 to win.

Another dropped catch to begin the final over from Danny Lamb, with Darren Stevens getting a top-edge and the ball soars towards Keaton Jennings at cover, who puts it down.

Stevens responds by thrashing a boundary to long-on, lifting the Spitfires past 300 and he finishes with 33 not out from 31 balls.

Lancashire will need 307 to win...

  14. Over 49published at 14:28 British Summer Time 17 September 2022

    Kent 295-6 v Lancs

Tom Bailey varies his pace and line and Kent just aren't able to get him away during this penultimate over.

Only five runs conceded and Bailey finishes with 2-46.

    Kent 293-6 v Lancs

    Ben Watts
    BBC Radio Kent

Lancashire have been a bit ragged in the field at times today. It just shows how much nerves can get to players on occasions like this.

  16. Over 48published at 14:25 British Summer Time 17 September 2022

    Kent 290-6 v Lancs

Lancashire will be happy with these last couple of overs, in which they've picked up two wickets and not given up too many runs.

Tom Bailey and Danny Lamb will finish off with one more over each and Kent not yet at the 300 mark.

WICKET - Stewart run out 1published at 14:21 British Summer Time 17 September 2022

    Kent 287-6 v Lancs

Grant Stewart is run out by a mile after pushing a ball from Danny Lamb towards gully, where Steven Croft collects and returns to the bowler.

Darren Stevens had charged down the track, so Stewart had little option but to sacrifice himself. Let's see whether Stevens can make it worthwhile in these last two and a bit overs...

  18. Over 47published at 14:20 British Summer Time 17 September 2022

    Kent 286-5 v Lancs

Good over for Tom Bailey, with only five runs given away and the wicket of the dangerous Alex Blake.

Grant Stewart is out there now to join Darren Stevens, with Kent trying to get up to somewhere around the 320 mark if possible.

  19. wicket

    WICKET - Blake c Jennings b Bailey 38published at 14:17 British Summer Time 17 September 2022

    Kent 284-5 v Lancs

Superb piece of relay fielding on the boundary there, with Rob Jones taking the catch and hurling it back just in time before he disappears over the rope for Keaton Jennings to complete the dismissal.

  20. Over 46published at 14:14 British Summer Time 17 September 2022

    Kent 281-4 v Lancs

Poor old Luke Wells is having a torrid time out there in the deep.

He shelled Alex Blake in the previous over - now he gets his fingers to a Darren Stevens drive to long-on but can't hang on. Far harder chance than the first one, in fairness.
