  1. Amir out of the attackpublished at 4 overs

    Hampshire 19-1 v Gloucestershire

Two balls after getting a wicket, Mohammad Amir has pulled up clutching his lower back and has had to go off.

What a disappointment for Amir and Gloucestershire.

Off spinner Glenn Phillips completes the over.

  2. Postpublished at 3 overs

    Yorks v Bears 40-0

Paul Stirling is back tonight for the Bears having been away with Ireland - making 40 from just 18 balls as the Irish fell just four short of chasing 226 in the second T20 against India.

His fifth and eighth balls have gone over the ropes tonight.

Alex Davies has also cleared the pickets and it's a wonderful start for the visitors.

  3. 6 runs

    Postpublished at 3 overs

    Worcs 178-6 v Lancs 24-0

Just nine from the first two overs, but that's more like it as Jos Buttler despatches Mitchell Stanley for six over long-on. He makes it look so easy!

Buttler moves on to 11 not out, with partner Phil Salt on nine.

Kent continue to go well at the Oval - they are 107-2 after 11 overs, Jordan Cox has raced to 46 off 24 balls.

Across the capital, Somerset are restricting Middlesex superbly. The home side are 85-5 with just over five overs remaining.

And, down on the South coast, Essex have started well against Sussex, moving to 34-0 after four overs.

  6. Postpublished at 3 overs

    Hampshire 15-0 v Gloucestershire

Here comes spin in the shape of left-armer Tom Smith.

Gloucestershire skipper Jack Taylor will be very happy with that as the over yields just three singles.

  7. Postpublished at 2 overs

    Hampshire 12-0 v Gloucestershire

A decent first over from Ryan Higgins is only spoiled by the fourth ball, which is too short and pulled to the boundary by James Vince.

  8. Postpublished at 9 overs

    Leics 88-2 v Northants

Lewis Hill has also fallen for Leicestershire.

26 from 19 but, like Nick Welch, can't go on so two fresh batsmen out there for the Foxes.

Northants have reined things in a little after the rollocking start.

  9. Postpublished at 19:08 British Summer Time 1 July 2022

    Worcs 178-6 v Lancs 3-0

He may be England's new white-ball skipper but Jos Buttler is content to let Phil Salt face the first ball as Lancashire begin their run-chase. A leg bye soon has him on strike but a single is all Buttler can manage in a tidy first over by Mitch Stanley.

  10. Postpublished at 1 over

    Hampshire 6-0 v Gloucestershire

Left-armer David Payne to open the bowling. Austrialia white-ball player Ben McDermott is opening with skipper James Vince.

Payne gets one to move back in past Vince's bat, before he drops short and Vince helps himself to four.

  11. Postpublished at 6 overs

    Leics 61-1v Northanta

Leicestershire blazed 57 from the first five overs.

But Graeme White's left-arm spin has found a wicket in the final set of the powerplay.

Nick Welch gone for 38 from 21 balls.

Still a fine powerplay for the Foxes.

  12. Lancashire to chase 179 targetpublished at 18:54 British Summer Time 1 July 2022

    Worcestershire 178-6 v Lancashire

Dwayne Bravo clears the mid-wicket rope at the start of the final over, bowled by Luke Wood.

Only a couple of singles and a two follow, though, and Bravo is 10 not out at the end of the Worcestershire innings, with Gareth Roderick on eight.

Is that a big enough total against a side with Jos Buttler, Phil Salt, Steven Croft and Tim David in their batting armoury?

Spinner Luke Wells was the pick of the Lancashire attack, taking 2-26 from his four overs.

  13. Postpublished at 18:54 British Summer Time 1 July 2022

    Surrey v Kent 64-1

Tawanda Muyeye and Jordan Cox have got Kent off to a flyer against group-topping Surrey.

They are 64-1 after five overs; Cox has just smashed Aaron Hardie for successive sixes.

  15. In-form Hawks look to book quarter-final spotpublished at 18:45 British Summer Time 1 July 2022

Hampshire Hawks v Gloucestershire (19:00 BST)

Hampshire will look to book their last eight berth this evening if they carry on their strong T20 Blast momentum.

After losing their first four games, the Hawks have won seven of their last eight, including a nine-run win in Bristol last Friday over tonight's opponents, Gloucestershire.

Semi-finalists two years ago, Glos must win to keep alive their hopes of reaching the knockouts. With one victory in their last four, they need a big performance under the lights at the Ageas Bowl.

Hampshire captain James Vince has won the toss and they will bat first. Leggie Mason Crane replaces Toby Albert in their only alteration. Gloucestershire are unchanged.

Worcestershire Rapids pass 150 in the 17th over against Lancashire Lightning as Kashif Ali slog sweeps Matt Parkinson for six over mid-wicket.

Ten an over from here takes them to 181 and that may well be the minimum requirement against a powerful Lancashire line-up.
