Colin Ackermann and Max O'Dowd exchange singles but those are the only runs from the Shadab over.
Pakistan have bowled well but Netherlands really haven't done much to try and put them under pressure as yet.

Tom Cooper will be really disappointed with that dismissal. He hit it straight down Wasim's throat, he only had to move a step or two.

That is a simple catch, but it was nicely taken. He just settled himself and watched it into his hands.
Cooper c Wasim b Shadab 1 (Ned 19-2)
Long hop from Shadab Khan but hit straight to the fielder in the deep!
It was a real loosener from the Pakistan leggie, Tom Cooper tried to punish it but could only pick out Mohammad Wasim at deep mid-wicket.
Pakistan well on top.

Haris Rauf has just carried on from where he left off the other night. His length was impeccable - he just didn't let the Netherlands batter comfortably on the front or back foot.

Netherlands would have been hoping for more from that powerplay.
The end of the powerplay comes after Tom Cooper, the new batter for the Netherlands, nudges a single into the leg side.
It's not been the most explosive of starts from the batting side.
Ned 18-1
The Netherlands number three is going to have to go off. He's got quite the shiner on his right eye as he walks off with the physio.
The replays show that the ball was headed right for that eye before thudding into a combination of the grille and the cap of the helmet.
Hopefully, de Leede is OK.

That has hurt. You could hear the crunch.
The rapid Haris Rauf is into the attack for Pakistan and he hits Bas de Leede with a ferocious 88mph bouncer.
The Netherlands man was trying to pull, the ball got to hit much quicker than he expected and crunches into his helmet.
He quickly takes his helmet off and the physio is already running out.
That boundary doesn't quite get the runs flowing as Netherlands would have hoped.
Wasim dots de Leede up for the next three balls before the last is popped up into the leg side, into a gap, for a single.
Not entirely convincing - although that could be said for the first five overs as a whole from the Netherlands batters.

Bas de Leede has been threatening to do that for the last few balls. He just backed away and gave himself room and made a good connection.
Ben Cameron

That was a much-needed boundary.
Mohammad Wasim is into the attack now, he took four-for against Zimbabwe, but he offers up width second ball today and Bas de Leede carves the ball down to deep third for four.
They're all useful runs for Netherlands right now.
Big appeal to end Naseem Shah's over as Bas de Leede fiddles at a rising delivery outside off.
The bowler is convinced there was a nick but captain and wicketkeeper just jog through to prepare for the next over as soon as the umpire shakes his head.
It was close to the edge but UltraEdge confirms there nothing on it. Babar Azam was wise not to review.

That will be big for Shaheen Shah Afridi's confidence because he was off the other night. He's started with great intent tonight and got Pakistan off on the right foot.
Myburgh was able to crash the ball away through point for the Netherlands' first boundary before he departed but it has been a tough first three overs for them.
Both Shaheen and Naseem have superb and the former has now been rewarded with a wicket.

We saw the traditional Shaheen Shah Afridi celebration.
The pull shot was the downfall again. It is a tough shot to play on a pitch with more pace and bounce.
Myburgh c Wasim b Shaheen 6 (Ned 7-1)
Shaheen Afridi strikes!
Short ball from the left-arm quick, Stephan Myburgh tries to pull it but the top-edge sends it high and down to fine leg.
Mohammad Wasim is there and pouches the catch with minimal fuss. An excellent start from Pakistan.
Naseem Shah backs up Shaheen Afridi with another good over. Just a single from it.
Myburgh did show a bit more aggression but a good stop at backward point saved three runs.
