The crowd's been really inspirational. Just going round the pitch after the games and signing autographs, there's so many young girls and boys. As domestic players, we haven't really experienced that type of thing before.

    Target 143

Bryony Smith, who led Rockets' charge with the bat earlier, tidies things up a little with a decent set of five.

It feels like if they get Beth Mooney out early, the game's theirs for the taking.

Not the best start but Nat Sciver is a very calming influence out there so I'm sure they'll be putting a plan together and get back on track.

    Target 143

    Not much.

It's a wide, so Bryce has to bowl the free hit again.

And Beth Mooney just plonks it down the ground for a single.

  5. Spirit 9-0published at 98 balls left

Yet another full toss is called a free hit because it's not bounced, and has reached the batter above waist height.

What can Grace Scrivens do with it?

  6. Spirit 4-0published at 99 balls left

    Oh, what a horrible start.

Kathryn Bryce bowls a loopy full toss that Beth Mooney sends on its way for four runs. It should've only been a couple of runs but there was a misfield.

Not the way the Rockets would've wanted to begin things.

Australian Beth Mooney and youngster Grace Scrivens make their way out to the middle to begin their chase.

Mooney hit 97 in her first innings of The Hundred just over a week ago and that is the women's competition's highest individual score. Spirit need another big knock from her today.

I'm looking at the London Spirit line up and they just haven't got much depth in their top order as the other teams.

But they've got very clever smart cricketers and they might need to prove their fire power today.

    Thanks, Georgie.

It feels like Trent Rockets are just ahead at the halfway stage. How crucial will Alana King be in their defence of 142?

    I suspect very.

Well that was fun and I'm buzzing to see what the next 100 has in store. Bryony Smith had a difficult time at the Commonwealth Games spending most of 11 days in a yellow bib carrying drinks but she has proved what she can do here.

It's now down to the Rockets' on-form bowling attack to defend this and get back to winning ways.

London Spirit seem a little light in their batting but if Mooney can fire at the top, we could be in for a mega chase.

Over to Ffion Wynne to take you through what could be epic.

It's a total without a doubt. It's runs on the board and something that the Trent Rockets will feel they can defend.

The last five balls from Schutt were phenomenal and could potentially be match winning.

All the spinners were pretty economical.

    King c Kerr B Schutt 0 (Rockets 142-4)

It was the Bryony Smith show and it was so good that even Nat Sciver was playing second fiddle. This is a really competitive score posted by the Rockets but a tight five from Schutt at the end just put a dampener on the run rate.

Rockets will feel confident that they can defend this with their hugely talented batting line-up but they did wobble a bit at the end there.

King dismissed on the final ball looking to go big but perhaps 10 shorter than they might have hoped?...

I wonder how important that final five might have been from Schutt to just swing the favour back in their direction.

It will be a big last five for the London Spirit. If Sciver makes a few boundaries then it could lead to a tough total to chase down .

  14. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 94 balls

Du Preez run out Dean 3 (Rockets 140-3)

Du Preez was sold down the river a bit there by her captain and both seemed surprised about how quickly the ball came back from Dean.

A great pick up on the half volley and quick thinking to get it back in with a bullet throw to Mooney.

Smith was doing exactly the right thing and looking to target the boundary but didn't get it this time. That's exactly what they wanted to do is prove their partnership.

  16. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 92 balls

    Smith c Gibson b A Kerr 63 (Rockets 137-2)

A great knock comes to an end but Smith went the right way about it. She was looking to go aerial again and didn't get all of it. It finds the safe hands of Gibson at long off.

  17. Rockets 137-1published at 91 balls

    Smith 63, Sciver 42

Smith goes aerial again and teases the filelder at long on who momentarily thinks she's in the game. But not when Smith is hitting like this.

Brilliant batting from Smith and looking to take on London Spirit captain Charlie Dean.
