I think Katherine Brunt - apart from the dropped catch and missed run out - will be happy with how she's started. England will be happy to have kept South Africa to just three an over so far.
It has felt like a hectic start to this game, as Katherine Brunt goes up for a lbw before there was a clear inside edge from Laura Wolvaardt.
The ball before the two openers took on another very tight single and only just got home.

I think either end. A direct hit and Wolvaardt would have been gone. It was a panicked single from Steyn. Wyatt didn't go for the direct hit and that was a mistake. A couple of missed opportunities for England.

If that throw had gone to the non-striker's end then Steyn would have been in trouble.
Oh, tight single!
Andrie Steyn drops the ball into point, where Danni Wyatt is stood and collects the ball.
She decides to throw into the gloves of Amy Jones, rather than taking on the direct hit at either end - which were both on - and the chance disappears.
Wyatt was probably a tad safe there because it was a very tight single at best.

A busy start to proceedings then with the review, the back-to-back boundaries and then the drop.
Let's hope it is as exciting throughout.

There's not a huge amount of bounce in the pitch so I wouldn't be surprised if the slips moved up a step or two. Knight will be disappointed not to take it, though. It would have set Brunt off in this international summer.

Very nearly taken at first slip. It went very low to Knight's left. It did carry, a tough one but an inch or two off the ground.
Oh! Dropped by the England skipper Heather Knight.
It's a healthy edge from the back-foot driving Andrie Steyn and it goes quite low to Knight at first slip, who can't gather cleanly.
The ball runs away and Steyn takes a single to get off strike.
Katherine Brunt was off celebrating and then has a very stern disappointed look on her face.

Sciver will be disappointed with those two balls. She knows that's not how you bowl to Laura Wolvaardt, she will put those away. She will try to pull her length back a bit now.
Nat Sciver twice over pitches and it allows Laura Wolvaardt to drive through the covers for consecutive boundaries.
The pitch looks a cracker and the outfield is lightning fast.
Interesting.
Nat Sciver is going to share new-ball duties with Katherine Brunt.
This is England's first 50-over game since Anya Shrubsole retired so we're seeing new dynamics today.

I've never been so tired as I was after my day commentating on the Test match at Taunton.
A tidy start from Katherine Brunt, with just a Andrie Steyn single through square leg conceded.
There's plenty of early chirp from England.

Katherine Brunt is not shy of wanting a review so if she doesn't want a review, it's probably not out.
A clear gap between bat and ball.
That's a pretty poor review from England truth be told.
Daniel Norcross

They have gone for it. I heard something.
Has Andrie Steyn nicked the ball behind?
England have sent it upstairs, but Steyn doesn't look too concerned.
Amy Jones didn't look interested at all either.
