  1. Eng 161-2published at 31 overs

    Target 228

More pain for the England players. Harmanpreet Kaur cleverly gets down low to flicks Kate Cross fine past wicketkeeper Jones to the boundary once more. As Tash Farrant said earlier these two are good mates and team-mates in domestic cricket. The India captain holds the advantage at the moment.

Kate Cross has looked really threatening when she's bowled her best ball, they have often been dots. But she needs the person at the other end to be doing the same.

  3. Ind 157-2published at 30 overs

    Mandhana 71, Kaur 27

It's the India fans making the noise in the crowd. There's one guy running up and down in front of one stand with his flag waving behind him.

Seamer Alice Davidson-Richards, fresh after her fifty earlier, returns to the attack but fails to find the breakthrough.

It feels like something is going to happen every ball here. I don't know if it is because they are good mates and Harmanpreet Kaur wants to get Kate Cross away every ball. The crowd are getting into it as well but it feels like something is going to give.

She may be out but we should not forget Yasitka Bhatia's part in this run-chase. She played some lovely shots...

  6. Ind 153-2published at 29 overs

    Target 228

The change fails to change the momentum. It's just not going to plan with bat or ball for England today. Harmanpreet, given a ball on her pads by Cross, flicks it out of the reach of Issy Wong on the boundary.

Kate Cross is back. This is England skipper Amy Jones desperately hoping for a wicket now.

That is a lovely shot by Mandhana. It was just a paddle but it ran down the hill.

  9. Ind 146-2published at 28 overs

Need 82 runs from 132 balls

England fielders have their hands firmly planted on heads. Somehow a ball from Emma Lamb skids low to Harmanpreet Kaur misses the stumps. I am not sure how.

A few balls later, Lamb drifts in line again and Mandhana just paddles it casually to the fine leg boundary.

The India duo share a joke in the middle. It's easy going for them at the minute.

India are just doing what they need to do at the moment.

  11. Ind 139-2published at 27 overs

    Target 228

Even the great Sophie Ecclestone loses her line and length in this over. Three too short, one on the offside and two on the leg, and India's total can tick over.

Six runs from the over without any real effort.

  12. Ind 133-2published at 26 overs

Need 95 runs from 144 balls

Short and wide from Emma Lamb. Harmanpreet Kaur is too good for that.

There is a group of India fans in the crowd and they wave their green, white and orange flags as ball reaches boundary rope.

Thanks Callum. My suggestion earlier that England had enough runs is looking wayward...

  14. Ind 128-2published at 25 overs

    Target 228

It feels like Sophie Ecclestone is getting quicker and quicker all the time as she tries to sneak one through Harmanpreet Kaur.

Twice Kaur goes onto the back foot and cuts away off the stumps, which gets Ecclestone interested.

We're at the half way point and India need exactly 100 more runs to win. Matt Henry will take you through the second half of the chase.

I am surprised Emma Lamb has been chosen over Alice Capsey to bowl here. They both are batters who bowl but Capsey has that knack of taking wickets. That is what England need.

  16. Ind 122-2published at 24 overs

    Target 228

England turn to part-timer spinner Emma Lamb as they desperately search for a way back into this game. I'm surprised we haven't seen Alice Capsey yet, she does seem to have a knack of finding wickets.

Lamb concedes just three runs from first six balls, despite a quite horrible drag down, that must have got stuck in her hand, but it was almost too hard to hit.

  17. Ind 119-2published at 23 overs

    Target 228

There's a brief appeal for lbw as England debate whether the ball flicked Harmanpreet Kaur's boot before she worked the ball into mid-wicket.

Anna Harris quickly ends the appeal with a very bold "not out".

Kaur is only on eight off 19 balls, but it doesn't feel like England are building any pressure.

  18. Ind 116-2published at 22 overs

    Target 228

Charlie Dean comes back well from the first-ball four, with just three runs from the rest of the over.

India are beyond half way there in the chase though. They are in complete control at the moment.
