  1. 50 runs

50 for Mandhanapublished at 21.1 overs

    Target 228

Smriti Mandhana is a delight to watch and it is shots like this that is why.

She comes down the pitch, just by a step or two, and plants Charlie Dean back over for head for a one-bounce four.

Another half-century for the left-hander. She very rarely fails.

  2. Ind 108-2published at 21 overs

    Target 228

India are playing Sophie Ecclestone well at the moment.

She hasn't really looked like taking a wicket in her first three overs.

India need another 120 runs from 174 balls.

  3. Ind 105-2published at 20 overs

    Target 228

A tidy over from Charlie Dean just brings a single for Smriti Mandhana.

Dean has figures of 1-24 from her six overs so far. She's been the best of the England bowlers.

  4. Ind 104-2published at 19 overs

    Target 228

England and Sophie Ecclestone start with a slip to Harmanpreet Kaur. They know the only way they can probably win this game is by taking 10 India wickets.

However the attacking option leaves a gaping hole at fine leg and twice Kaur gets down to paddle sweep round the corner for a couple.

England take the slip out to plug the gap and three forward defensive shots follow.

  5. Ind 99-2published at 18 overs

India skipper Harmanpreet Kaur is the new batter.

She can be a slow starter at times so there is an opportunity for England to build some pressure now.

How will Smriti Mandhana play at the other end now? Will she go more aggressive? If she bats through India win though, surely?

That is a lovely bit of bowling. She had kept it tight and then fired that in quicker. She deserved it. Don't underestimate the influence of Ecclestone at the other end. Runs became hard to come by.

  7. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 17.4 overs

    Bhatia b Dean 50 (Ind 99-2)

    Bowled her!

Despite scoring at more than a run-a-ball it did feel like Yastika Bhatia was starting to get frustrated.

She comes down the pitch to Charlie Dean but the ball sneaks between bat and pad and crashes into the stumps.

Does this open a door for England?

  8. 50 runs

50 for Bhatiapublished at 17.2 overs

    Ind 99-1

A big slice of fortune for Yastika Bhatia as a thick inside edge just misses the stumps.

It runs away for four and brings up her half-century.

She's batted really well, but it feels like she's getting fidgety.

  9. Ind 95-1published at 17 overs

    Target 228

That's nice. Yastika Bhatia's shoe lace has come undone and Sophie Ecclestone does it up for her. Double knot and everything.

How India play Ecclestone will be interesting to see. They are in a good enough position that means they can milk the left-arm spinner a little bit if they want.

Hmmm. Maybe they don't want to do that. Smriti Mandhana uses his feet and looks to hit over long-on. She doesn't quite get all of it but it lands safely for a couple.

  12. Ind 90-1published at 16 overs

    Target 228

A lovely bit of touch from Smriti Mandhana brings her four more as she guides Charlie Dean past short third.

    Where is Sophie Ecclestone?

They are always tough to judge if to dive forward or not.

  14. drinks break

    Ind 84-1published at 15 overs

    Target 228

A slice of luck for Yastika Bhatia and India as a top-edged pull lands in the middle of nowhere and Issy Wong, who comes hurtling in from fine leg, ends about five yards short of having any chance of the catch.

At drinks India are on top. They need 144 more from 210 balls.

  15. Ind 81-1published at 14 overs

    Target 228

Charlie Dean is offering England a decent element of control at the moment, but she hasn't look that likely to take a wicket since the first over.

When will we see Sophie Ecclestone? Amy Jones can't leave her too late or the game may already be gone.

It is very rare we see Mandhana playing second fiddle. Bhatia is going along very nicely.

  17. Ind 78-1published at 13 overs

    Target 228

A better over from Alice Davidson-Richards, conceding just three singles.

India need 150 more from 37 overs. They are strong favourites.

The worm shows India are 35 runs ahead of England. India are 78 for 1 after 13 overs. At the same stage England were 43 for 2.Image source, BBC Sport

These two have played really nicely. They haven't really taken any risks.

  19. Ind 75-1published at 12 overs

    Target 228

This partnership is threatening to take the game away from England already.

Yastika Bhatia uses her feet well to come down the pitch to Charlie Dean and drive through the covers for another boundary.

The stand is worth 72 off 65 balls so far. They have hit 13 fours and one six between them already.
