What a brilliant knock Crawley has played. Rauf was a little bit expensive but he will take that because it's a big wicket.

Rauf has broken through!
It's his first Test wicket and he has brought to an end a really brilliant innings from Crawley.
Crawley b Rauf 122 (Eng 235-2)
Well! After as one-sided a start as I can remember Pakistan have two wickets in two overs.
Zak Crawley's sensational knock comes to an end as he has his stumps rattled by Haris Rauf.
The England dressing room rises to Crawley...

I think England are going to be positive and keep putting Pakistan under pressure. If Pakistan can sneak another wicket or two then things can change for them.
It's umpire's call on impact and on leg stump.
Pope is fine but there's just a hint that this pitch isn't as totally serene as it has looked.
Pakistan are going for another lbw review! Has Ollie Pope got a second baller?
This one is optimistic, for me.

That is the breakthrough that Pakistan have been waiting for. The DJ here is finally playing some music!
Duckett lbw b Mahmood 107 (Eng 233-1)
Finally, Pakistan have something to celebrate. It was indeed very straight as Ben Duckett got really low to sweep the leg-spinner.
He has to slump off, clearly gutted to have to let someone else have a go on this road, but that is a fine, fine knock.

The only thing that's going to save him is if it's bouncing over the top. It's very straight.
Oooo. We're going upstairs again as Ben Duckett is hit on the pad trying a reverse sweep.
Pakistan were pleading for the lbw.

Zak Crawley's century was the fastest by and England opener, and Ben Duckett's is the third-fastest.

This is unbelievable. He has been waiting for this moment for a long time, six years out of the side.
He's proven that his game suits these surfaces. He could have easily been in England's T20 World Cup team, too. But he has really taken his opportunity here, he's playing brilliantly.
He has not allowed any of the Pakistan bowlers to settle.
The full England team is on its feet up in the dressing room. Duckett composes himself after looking to the skies.
A run-a-ball century made to look pedestrian by his batting partner.

What a dream comeback this is!
There it is!
Ben Duckett pulls Haris Rauf and, helped by some shoddy fielding, it goes for four. On his comeback after six years out of the team, the left-hander has a 105-ball century.
Outstanding.

England have just changed the mould of Test cricket. They are going to put teams around the world under so much pressure if they keep playing with this approach.
Pakistan are nearly out of the game already, but England must be thinking about when they are going to declare!

Crawley 117, Duckett 96
Pakistan leg-spinner Zahid Mehmood goes from hands on head to full tea pot as Crawley cuts, a little edgily, for four.
It has been that kind of day for the bowlers.

Such a shame Test cricket is so boring.
Rob
This is a strange virus affecting these England players!

You didn't dream the lottery numbers by any chance?
Crawley drives perfectly for four again.
