We are having another light meter check...and we are fine to continue.

Aatif is spot on there. We have been treated to some epic sunsets during this series and we are enjoying another here as the golden sun dips slowly behind one of the stands.

Ben Stokes and Harry Brook look very relaxed out there. But just in case either of them get out we have seen a shot of 'Nighthawk' Jack Leach padded up and ready in the England dressing room.

It's very picturesque in Multan right now with the sun just setting. It's the golden hour.

Just the three singles off Abrar Ahmed's latest over as it gets ever gloomier.

Babar Azam opts to bring seamer Mohammad Ali into the attack. The umpires come together to have a chat in response, but give the OK to continue.

Kevin Ticehurst: Harry Brook has put his foot down here, great stuff!

It was not long ago that Viv Richards was playing shots like that and people said 'Wow, how's he doing that?' and now Harry Brook has made that look very easy.

  8. Eng 186-5published at 45 overs

Zahid Mahmood persists with this leg-side theory but Harry Brook shows some magnificent dexterity to dance down the track, give himself some room and smack the ball through the covers.

Brook could go on Strictly with footwork like that that.

Lovely shot from Brook, just delaying that shot so that he could beat the left-hander at backward point.

  10. Eng 177-5published at 44 overs

Lovely shot from Harry Brook, it is that delicate late cut again that perfectly dissects the field and the ball flies to the rope.

England ending the day well on top.

I don't think the light is as bad as it was yesterday. We'll probably get another four or five overs in.

  13. Eng 171-5published at 43 overs

A single off the first ball of Zahid Mahmood's latest over brings England's lead up to 250.

Mahmood then looks to cramp Harry Brook for room by bowling around the wicket well outside off stump.

The umpires have a chat at the end of the over as the light fades, but we are fine to continue for now.

Anything above 270-280 will be a difficult task for Pakistan. We've seen that batting isn't very easy.

Brook just stood there and swung the bat, no nonsense.

  17. Eng 170-5published at 42 overs

Stand and deliver from Harry Brook. No footwork but all power and timing as he clubs Abrar Ahmed straight down the ground for four.

Have I just woken up on the wrong side of the bed or is anyone else getting immensely irritated by Mohammed Rizwan’s “oiii-orrr” after every half-decent delivery?
