Target 355
Too short from Leach and with nobody back on the off side, Shakeel is able to go back and thump the ball through the covers for four.
Four more! Shakeel into the 40s after skipping down the track and hitting effortlessly over mid-off.
Good from this Pakistan pair, they are now within 200 of their target.

This partnership is probably getting a little irritating for Ben Stokes. I reckon it won't be long before they bring the seam bowlers on.
Target 355
Root rattles through another over of his off-spin.
Just two from it, the second of those runs coming with a firm drive out to long off by Imam, who doesn't seem to be showing any signs of struggling after that scan on his hamstring.

Just seeing Ben Stokes marshalling his troops here, he likes to get his fielders in very precise positions.

There's a bit of abrasion in the surface. The bowlers' footmarks have left a little bit for them to work with.
Target 355
Just a couple of singles from the last four balls of the Leach over. Pakistan are continuing to attack the spinners as they did before tea, though.
Mark Wood and Ollie Robinson are now back on, by the way. At 40, it looks as though Jimmy Anderson is being given a bit more of a break.

That wasn't too far away from the fielder at short cover.
Target 355
Absolutely nailed by Imam! The left-hander powers the ball up and over Rehan Ahmed, the sub fielder on at short cover, although I'm not sure he'd have had the time to react even it it went straight to him. Four runs.

Gregcoles: Leach isn’t good enough...
It will be more spin, Jack Leach is readying himself to bowl.
Target 355
It is Root and there is just one from the over, Imam-ul-Haq driving it nicely out to deep extra cover.
None of the three seamers who took a wicket before tea are out on the field at the moment so I think we can safely assume it'll be spin at the other end, too.
The players are all out on the field and, after the batters take a couple of moments to collect their helmets and gloves from where they had been drying out on the outfield, they make their way to the middle.
It looks like Joe Root will bowl the first over of the session.
England could definitely do with their lead spinner getting amongst the wickets, Jasper.
He made it to 100 Test wickets yesterday, time to start working his way towards 150 now...

Can someone send a 'Leach isn't good enough' message please? Usually when that happens he proves people wrong & takes one!

Jimmy Anderson's genius started it and Ollie Robinson and Mark Wood did not want to be left out. Any one of them would have been quite something - but all three in a session. Wow!
Thanks, Tom.
A good session for England. Pakistan aren't out of this just yet but Ben Stokes' side are still firmly in the ascendancy after some brilliance from their seamers.
With this Test match nicely poised it is time for me to take a break.
Here to guide you through the final session is Sam Drury.
Ollie Robinson 1-7 from seven overs
Jack Leach 0-59 from 15 overs
Joe Root 0-22 from seven overs
Mark Wood 1-24 from seven overs
James Anderson 1-7 from five overs
Will Jacks 0-15 from four overs

For Pakistan, it's mostly been survival mode. They have just started to take on the spinners.
