Thanks, Tom. England aren't likely to hang around here.

The openers are out in the middle already and we're ready to go. The rest of the England side would be doubly happy to see Sophia Dunkley and Danni Wyatt knock these runs off.

Firstly, just because it would mean a good win but also so they can keep an eye on the WPL auction that is still ongoing...

If England's batting performance against West Indies is anything to go by they shouldn't have too much trouble chasing down this target - but you never know!

Here to guide you through their innings is Sam Drury.

England spinner Charlie Dean: "Really pleased. The way the Ireland girls started, they came at us in the powerplay, it really made us think. Luckily we had a bit of time between overs to have a chat, stayed in the game and took the wickets at the end.

"I think in this heat, the stoppages were nice to have a drink but it was tough to keep momentum going. I think it worked in our favour, though.

"On the whole, it looked like a pretty good deck. I think it turned a little bit more than the other day but I'm looking forward to getting going and batting on it now.

"It's a really friendly group, [the spinners] all have different roles and turn the ball in different ways and I'm really lucky to be part of the little trio we have."

Fantastic start from Ireland but England's spin trio pegged them back through the middle overs before the seamers finished it off.

I think we're all just thinking about how long it will take England to knock off these runs.

  5. Innings break - Ireland all out for 105published at 14:43 Greenwich Mean Time 13 February 2023

So after a bright start Ireland have collapsed to 105 all out with 10 balls to spare.

It means England need 106 to win and make it two out of two at this World Cup.

    Maguire c N Sciver-Brunt b K Sciver-Brunt (Ire 105)

It is the Sciver-Brunt double as Jane Maguire clips Katherine Sciver-Brunt's delivery to Nat Sciver-Brunt at mid-wicket!

This Ireland innings started so well. They were 80-2 and from there have limped to 105-9. The aggression has stopped now.

  8. Ire 105-9published at 18 overs

So only numbers 10 and 11 Cara Murray and Jane Maguire are left for Ireland. They managed to scramble two singles off Lauren Bell's latest over.

Seeing out the 20 overs would be an achievement, which is in sharp contrast to how this innings began.

You can see why Sophie Ecclestone has gone for the big money in the WPL auction today. She's a world-class performer. She loves the big moment and performing for her team. She loves the limelight and being that wicket-taker.

    Delany b Ecclestone 12 (Ire 103-9)

Sophie Ecclestone is at it again!

She ends with figures of 3-13 as her final delivery is fuller and quicker, and it ends up yorking Laura Delany.

Really good shot from Laura Delany. She becomes the fourth Ireland batter to reach double figures.

  13. Ire 101-8published at 16 overs

That's a good shot from Laura Delany, who smashes the ball through point to bring up the Ireland 100.

Delany will have to do the bulk of the work herself if she is to get Ireland up to a competitive score.

The 13th over proved decisive, with Sophie Ecclestone's two wickets in as many balls sparking the collapse.

Soft as you like, really. No real celebration from Lauren Bell, wickets are coming thick and fast.

There doesn't seem to be any plan to bat out the overs for Ireland.

  16. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 15.1 overs

    Kelly c Knight b Bell 1 (Ire 95-8)

And another one. Easy as you like.

Lauren Bell returns to the attack and Arlene Kelly smacks her first ball straight to Heather Knight in the covers.

Knight didn't even have to move.

England's spinners have really exposed this Ireland middle-to-lower order. All the experience of Glenn, Dean and Ecclestone combining and it is turning into a bit of a limp finish for Ireland.

They've lost 5-14 in 14 balls. After such a good start, it's such a shame for the innings to peter out like this.

  18. Ire 95-7published at 15 overs

There is very nearly another wicket as Arlene Kelly lobs the ball up to mid-off but it lands just short of Alice Capsey.

This is following a similar pattern to Saturday when West Indies made a fine start but collapsed towards the end.

However enterprising Ireland's approach is - and it is entertaining to watch - it is resulting in something of a collapse.

  20. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 14.4 overs

    Paul b Glenn 0 (Ire 94-7)

    The procession continues...

It is an ugly shot from Leah Paul and she is clean-bowled second ball.

Sarah Glenn now has three wickets, England have seven.
