A great idea, Rob. I am forwarding that on to management as we speak.
Just five runs from Sarah Glenn's latest over, though it could have been worse but for a fine stop on the boundary by Sophie Ecclestone.
Time for NSB next up...

To save Tom et al. getting RSI, couldn't we just refer to KSB & NSB much as Bairstow is YJB?

Ireland have done really well here and have probably surprised England ever so slightly.

English opening bowlers could be exposed against the better teams here. So far they've been fairly poor.

There's cries of 'catch it' as Laura Delany mistimes a pull shot but it loops just over the fielder at extra cover.
Katherine Sciver-Brunt then bowls a slower ball that deceives Gaby Lewis, but her lbw appeal is turned down - it looked very leg-sidey to me.
Six off the over lifts Ireland up to 67-2 at the halfway stage. I think they will be very happy with that. Can the build on this platform though?
It is also time for drinks. Because we have not had enough delays in this match already...
England turn to the experience of Katherine Sciver-Brunt to try and reel Ireland in a bit.

Gaby Lewis has played that really nicely. A straight bat and back past Sarah Glenn. Ireland have got themselves into a good position.
Captain Laura Delany is the new batter and nudges a single off her second ball. That brings Gaby Lewis on strike and she hammers the ball away for another boundary.
Ireland not letting that wicket stifle their momentum.

Too straight there and a big old hack across the line. The one before was a glorious shot, that was an awful one. Prendergast misses, Sarah Glenn hits.
Prendergast b Glenn 17 (Ire 56-2)
Bowled next ball!
Orla Prendergast dances down the track and attempts a big shot over the top, but the ball straightens and keeps a little low before smacking into off stump.

A wonderful shot, using her feet and getting to the pitch of the ball to loft it over mid-off. It's one of those high risk high reward shots.
Shot!
Orla Prendergast has clattered Sarah Glenn through the covers for a one-bounce four.
Ireland continue to be aggressive.

England have done well to drag it back, Nat Sciver-Brunt showing her class. Just three runs from that over.
England have been a little below-par in the field so far.
Alice Capsey fumbles a pull shot from Orla Prendergast at mid-wicket and Ireland can run two.
Capsey looks understandably frustrated, as does Nat Sciver-Brunt.
Speaking of the WPL auction, here is Nat Sciver-Brunt - freshly signed by the Mumbai Indians.

I’m a little bit worried that England are distracted by the auction, this might let Ireland get a large target and put the pressure on England's batting

Sophie Ecclestone, who I don't think I'm being unfair in saying is not one of England's more agile fielders, lets that go through rather limply.
A fumble by Sophie Ecclestone in the field allows Ireland to run three.
That felt like the longest over of all time.
We are! Sarah Glenn can finally resume her over...
