Great timing. Jacks follows up the six with a four, worked off his pads but struck sweetly enough that it races to the rope at deep mid-wicket.

It will go down as a chance but it was self preservation more than anything from Mustafizur as Jacks walloped the ball back at him.

The bowler stuck up both hands in front of his face and the ball flicks off his fingertips and out to mid-on.

Jacks finds the boundary to start Shakib's latest, going back to cut and getting a thick edge when the ball doesn't turn as he expects.

Not how he planned it but the result is the same for the England right-hander.

You might be thinking that England should just knock the ball around and try to win this game in ones and twos.
