Most games are about to get under way after lunch.
Plenty finished their opening session at 13:10 BST to make up for time lost to rain.
Big session coming up for a number of sides...
Lancashire 167-5 v Somerset 361
Anthony Gibson
BBC Radio Somerset
Somerset have bowled well this morning to pick up three Lancashire wickets, all of them falling to Craig Overton, who appears to have shaken off the tendonitis in his left knee which has plagued his season to date.
Jack Leach has probed away economically but this is a pitch which has been built to last and Lancashire's New Zealand debutant Daryl Mitchell is looking ominously comfortable.
Leicestershire 1-0 v Sussex 430
Adrian Harms
BBC Sussex
Sussex began the day needing 131 in 19 overs to secure maximum batting points
However in helpful overcast bowling conditions Leicestershire steadily picked up wickets throughout the morning, as Sussex eventually settled for four batting points.
Surprisingly Sussex decided to bat on rather than declare having reached 110 overs, which seemed an odd decision given that a whole day of this game has ben lost to rain, and Sussex are without their leading strike bowlers Ollie Robinson and Nathan McAndrew.
Tom Alsop finished 182 not out - a highest first-class score, and his fifth century for Sussex, he’s proved an excellent signing for Sussex averaging over 40 batting at number three
Leicestershire safely negotiated the one over they faced before lunch.
Day three
Div One
Div Two
Kent 95 v Hampshire 189-5
Undeniably Kent’s morning at Canterbury.
The hosts started the day staring down the barrel against a Hampshire side who had already nudged ahead of Kent’s meagre first innings total without losing a wicket.
But their attack were firmly on top and piled on the pressure, sparked into life by Wes Agar’s superb opening spell of 3 for 24.
Hampshire are still in a highly commanding position, adding 86 runs to take their lead to 94, with Liam Dawson (19) and Ian Holland (9) surviving a highly testing spell.
Yet those five wickets have at least given Kent a little hope.
Porter c Yates b Hasan Ali 0 (Warks v Essex 215 lead by 99)
A full ball from Hasan Ali is nicked low to first slip by Jamie Porter and Essex are all done.
At 130-7 they were looking likely to lose before lunch but Simon Harmer's 50 has saved a bit of face.
But there will only be 100 to chase for the Bears after lunch.
Ali finishes with 4-48 and Chris Rushworth 4-62.
Surrey 291-7 v Middlesex 209
A decent session for Middlesex.
They've done very well not to let Surrey run away with four wickets this morning.
But Surrey go to lunch with a lead of 82 thanks to Jamie Smith's fine 97.
And the final ball of the session being plonked over mid-on for six by Sean Abbott!
Lancashire 167-5 v Somerset 361
An even morning session at Old Trafford, but three wickets from Craig Overton (3-33) have given Somerset the edge.
Lancashire were wobbling at 82-4 after two early wickets before Balderson and Daryl Mitchell, on debut, put on 77 for the fifth wicket.
But Overton’s third wicket of the morning, removing Balderson for 71, looks to have put Somerset back on top.
After surviving a few early scares, Mitchell is still there, unbeaten on 42, with Dane Vilas (6).
The Red Rose have put on 95 runs this morning, but still trail by a sizeable deficit of 194.
Paterson b Taylor 0 (Northants 158 v Notts 255)
Northants have finished Notts off and that's about as good a morning as they could have realistically hoped for.
A big swing from Dane Paterson to a Tom Taylor inswinger and he's castled.
They'll take lunch now at Wantage Road with Notts 97 runs in front on first-innings.
Smith b Hollman 97 (Surrey 283-7 v Middlesex 209)
The big one for Middlesex!
Legspinner Luke Hollman has sent down three accurate overs.
In his fourth, Jamie Smith tries to attack him.
He comes down, aims down the ground but is beaten by a bit of flight and turn and is well stumped by John Simpson.
Hutton b Sales 3 (Northants 158 v Notts 254-9)
Five wickets for Brett Hutton yesterday but he can't add to his dream return to Northampton with the bat here.
James Sales is full and straight and Hutton drives over the top of it and is comprehensively cleaned up.
Derbyshire 220-6 v Gloucestershire
Derbyshire opener Harry Came has just brought up his maiden first-class hundred.
It's a knock which has held his side's first innings together and he'll want to go on.
Talking of hundreds, Sussex's Tom Alsop has finished on 182 not out after the visitors were bowled out for 430 by Leicestershire.
That's something of a fightback from the Foxes after Sussex were 367-4 earlier this morning.
Durham v Yorkshire 198-7 (lead by 225)
Martin Emmerson
BBC Radio Newcastle
It's been a great morning of cricket in the Chester-le-Street sunshine. What a contrast to the damp, cold, gloom of yesterday.
The first task today for Durham was to try and break the partnership of Dawid Malan and Jonny Bairstow, which had reached 50 last night. It was Ben Raine who broke it.
Malan chased a swinging delivery and clipped it to the keeper Ollie Robinson who took a great diving catch. Malan was the third player out for 44 in the game. The partnership ended at 95.
If that catch was good, Robinson's next was an absolute pearler, snatching an edge from Bairstow, off Raine, one-handed around the ankles of first slip. Bairstow, who looked very comfortable last night, was a bit unsure at times today. He departed for 36.
Matthew Revis has also just been bowled for eight by debutant Bas de Leede and Matt Potts got Dom Bess lbw second ball.
Cook c Rushworth b Hasan Ali 7 (Warks v Essex 199-9 lead by 83)
Warwickshire are almost there.
Sam Cook chips a back-of-a-length ball from Hasan Ali to long leg.
The lead is nowhere near troubling territory.
Clarke c Buckingham b Sales 76 (Northants 158 v Notts 249-8)
The wicket Northants really needed.
It's a dreadful dismissal but they won't care.
Joe Clarke leans a long way outside off to drive James Sales and skews a big top edge to third man.
Decent catch from Jordan Buckingham running in.
Clarke's played well but he can't take his side out of sight.
George Balderson c Davies b Overton 71 (Lancashire 159-5 v Somerset 361)
There's to be no maiden century for George Balderson.
Craig Overton's appeal for lbw falls on deaf ears from umpire Nigel Long.
But the very next ball he angles a ball across Balderson who feathers an edge to wicketkeeper Steven Davies.
Three catches for him, three wickets for Overton who has 3-32.
A big breakthrough shortly before lunch.
Patterson-White c Vasconcelos b Sales 15 (Northants 158 v Notts 242-7)
James Sales breaks the partnership.
A big drive outside off from Liam Patterson-White and he nicks to first slip.
Penny for Joe Clarke's thoughts at that shot.
He's got 72 at the other end.
Glamorgan 24-0 (target 79) v Worcestershire
Nick Webb
BBC Radio Wales
Glamorgan look set to wrap up their first win of the season after four draws, as they chase down a modest target of just 79 against Worcestershire in the Sophia Gardens sunshine.
The Pears were seven down overnight, and any remaining hopes of the visitors mounting a challenge disappeared quickly when top scorer Matthew Waite played on to the first ball he received from Jamie McIlroy (3-36) - the third such dismissal of the innings.
Josh Tongue (5) slashed Timm van der Gugten to point to complete the Dutch international's five-for, and although Joe Leach then opened his shoulders to hit McIlroy for the first six of the match over the short grandstand boundary, he was bowled by James Harris for 24 to end the innings.
Glamorgan have coped better with a slow pitch with Michael Neser’s muscular knock of 86 providing the only half-century of the match, while Worcestershire have never recovered from collapsing to 34-6 on the first morning.
Lancashire 153-4 v Somerset 361
Daryl Mitchell lofts a six off Josh Davey as the Red Rose bring up their 150.
Lancashire are chipping away at their first innings deficit and have brought up their 150.
George Balderson and Mitchell have looked to be aggressive against England spinner Jack Leach, with mixed results.
Balderson has moved on to 69 and Mitchell has 40 and the hosts trail Somerset by 208.
