  1. Ire 104-5published at 35 overs

The next ball is pretty much identical, but going further down leg and Broad doesn't bother with an appeal.

Hands on knees, he grimaces as if he's having all the bad luck in the world.

    You've got four wickets, Stuart.

There was a bit of kidology there from Curtis Campher waving his bat.

  3. Not outpublished at 34.5 overs

    Ire 104-5

Missing leg stump by a fair distance.

    On we go.

    He did wave his bat.

  5. England reviewpublished at 34.5 overs

Ooooh! A beauty of a yorker from Stuart Broad clatters into Curtis Campher's front pad, but has it done too much?

Of course, Broad gets his way with a review.

Ireland will be hoping that this pair can produce another partnership.

  7. Ire 104-5published at 34 overs

This is turning into a very entertaining innings from Lorcan Tucker.

He's pretty solid in defence and then all of a sudden unveils a dramatic heave out of nowhere. This latest attempt is clubbed straight to mid-on for no run.

Pretty sure Jonny Bairstow is enjoying it too, cheering from behind the stumps.

Broad might need an interesting conversation with Jimmy Anderson. Broad always bowls at the other end - the Nursery End - and Anderson at the Pavilion End.

It would be an interesting conversation if Broad gets six or seven wickets.

Cheer up Broady, you only took your fourth wicket an over ago.

  10. Ire 104-5published at 33 overs

    Edged... for four.

Curtis Campher gets off the mark with a stroke of luck as the ball bounces just short of first slip and races away to the boundary.

Broad then beats his outside edge with a beauty to conclude the over, and takes a deep breath of frustration.

If he had have hit that it would have been one of the greatest shots ever played at Lord's.

  12. Ire 100-5published at 32.3 overs

Lorcan Tucker has clearly been watching Ben Stokes bat.

He charges down the pitch at Broad, has a wild heave and completely misses. He's lucky not to be bowled, and all Broad can do is laugh.

Tucker then takes a single next ball to bring up Ireland's 100.

  13. Ire 99-5published at 32 overs

Just the single off Jack Leach's over.

Can we have a few more of these?

Looks like this shot from Lorcan Tucker got Broad going.

  15. Ire 98-5published at 31 overs

Curtis Campher is the new batter, and successfully sees off the final two balls of the over.

Broad has a huge smile on his face. One wicket away from a 20th Test five-wicket haul.

Well bowled, Stuart Broad. Again, just in that channel and with the Lord's slope is it going to move away or come back at you?

McCollum did well for his side. He can be happy with his job. That is what you have got to do as an opener. At least he's got them to a total.

    WICKETpublished at 30.4 overs

    McCollum c Root b Broad 36 (Ire 98-5)

    Broad has his fourth!

James McCollum battled hard for his 107-ball 36, watching wickets tumble at the other end, but he's undone by a Stuart Broad beauty that nips just enough off the pitch to take his outside edge.

  18. Ire 94-4published at 30 overs

There's been a pretty clear shift in intensity from Ireland since lunch as Lorcan Tucker sweeps wildly and is struck on the pad, but he's so far down the wicket nobody bothers to appeal.

Ben Stokes won't mind that in the slightest.

  19. Ire 93-4published at 29.1 overs

James McCollum starts Jack Leach's over with a rather uncharacteristic reverse-lap-sweep thing over his shoulder for four.

    Lovely.
